Pure delight, and yes my days of a net a jar, watching the stickelback, swirlings mists change of seasons, and that moment, when it all comes together,

wonderful, finding one's inner self.

mate you deserve a knighthood for uploading these

Top video, the man with the glasses who called his wife a dragon just wait until she gets hold of him

I remember this series very well. It was a pleasure to watch David Overy representing the pike angler. What an angler he was. Very much missed.
I have the book, which John Bailey wrote to accompany the series, somewhere. There's some very fine tales contained within that the series doesn't cover.

Fishing for me, is a gift from God.

Known this series from a few crappy VHS tapes here from 200 BC.. Enjoyed it back then, but the quality was so awfull I haven’t watched it in ages..

So thanks Glenn for uploading it in decent quality, it was a real pleasure to watch it all again!

Wow! I thought this series had gone forever. Such a great series. I had this on VHS years ago then managed to lose it!
Thank you so much for posting it!😃

Makes me long for my boyhood days.
