I think people’s problem with bipedal Pokémon isn’t actually the act of walking on two legs… It’s how often they’re designed to look uncannily human
Wooferno doesn’t exactly hit that uncanny valley, it looks like a proper monster to me

I do love that Browt final evo. But it’s middle stage looks like a regional variant of Combusken

@UnderworldArtist 6 months ago

I think you accidentally reinvented Combusken with Peckinkik, but I love the designs nonetheless

I definitely agree that Wooferno is a good bipedal final stage, especially because i could so easily see it falling back onto four legs if it needed an extra burst of speed, it's bipedal, but its not bipedal in a lanky human proportions way

It feels like your accent gets stronger and stronger every video

Is it just me, or does Jack’s Boston accent shine more prominently in this video?

12:23 I think it's interesting that the facial expression looks like barong, an indonesian mythical creature, which this game's region is supposed to be based on. Honestly I would love this as an official evo

These designs are all so cool! I don't know if it was intentional or not, but Scalevoyant shedding a sort of "third eye" scale is such a cool nod to the parietal eyes that some reptiles have!

It looks like everyone is turning browt into a cassowary

This is such a nice treat, speculations are my fave and congrats on thirty

0:45 Funny enough your fuecoco evolution design is one of my favorites. And would have easily been one of my top Pokemon. Just like you've said in the past, every pokemon is someone's favorite. Just more to love. ☺️

Man, your Fakemon evolutions for the Paldean starters feel like an eternity ago.
And I love Wooferno, it really nailed being both quadrupedal and bipedal. LOVE that it is also Fire/Fairy. And personally I think it pulls off the Stone Lion theme a lot better than Hisuian Arcanine (and I love Hisuian Arcanine).

Love that last one. Many people don’t know that lizards do have an eye like organ on the top of their head that can sense value changes and shadows to prevent being eager by predators from above !
