13:34 Jeanne doesn't just cry when you give her back her laundry, she cries from *laughter*. It hits her how absurd this new life will be while she's basically holding her old life in her hands.

If it’s based on your focus… Do NOT wanna see the guy who glimpsed the visitor while jorkin it.

I personally like the ending SPOILER:

where you speak directly with the visitor, finding out it doesn't intend to do harm, but letting it know that simply by observing earth it is destroying it, and getting the visitor to decide to leave.
It causes you to mutate into an eldritch creature since you have gazed closely at it and spoken with it, but in this ending despite that you keep your sanity and choose to use your new form to help rebuild.

If i'm not mistaken, all of the hand people from the bus started when a homeless-looking man entered the bus at a stop and then burst into a bunch of hands or some shit, thus turning all of the passengers and the bus driver into those hand creatures we see in the game.
Another take i have on the transformation is It happens also because of the way the Visitor percieves you, my example would be the onlookers on Vincent's apartment, which were all just people partying when suddendly the Outside™ happened and they all came swarming for the window to take a look at it, flooding the view, combined with the low ilumination a party would normally have, resulting in no meaningful distinction between the people of the party, thus turning them all into Onlookers, with Vincent as the exception as he could potentially have been the original witness of that incident.

visitor? I hardly know her....

2:35 Didn't Memorial (one of the hand Conscripts in Mr. Henderson's apartment) say that the person who started the bus-hand infection was some hobo who got onto the bus and exploded into a bunch of hands that attacked and infected the passengers, which is why all of the bus passengers are hands??

the distortions happen since every matter IS the visitor so this is the reason some apartments are straight up warped

I noticed a significant amount of misinformation in this video, so I'm going to just point them out here.
* According to Memorial, the infection afflicting everyone who emerged from the bus originally came from somebody who climbed onto the bus very early in the morning when it was still dark. He exploded into dozens of tiny crawling hands which infected everyone on board, mostly the driver(The Crawling Hand).
* The Father of the tooth family is named Clint.
* The Rat King does not have control over all rats. The ones in Rat Hell are disloyal to the bearer of the Rusty Crown.
* The hallways of Floor 1 do not change, they just have nonsensical geometry that can be solved with enough time.
* Godhead Fred isn't delusional, he is fully aware that the divine thing is a shtick, he just doesn't know what else to do.
* Falling into the Spore Mother only yields a game over, the illusion is not broken for long.

Every time i heard words "EGO" and "Distortion" i heard a soft and comforting voice of a woman offering me to paint the world with my own colors

14:12 Speaking of laurent I dont think his insane head was lying when it says it was the original given the way his legs are facing

You probably should credit all the fanart you used in the video.

I am so sorry sir I thought you were literally that one ai voice in so many youtube shorts 😭

The flesh is fluid,it can be remade

You still foolishly consider yourself an entity separate from the whole. I know better. And I. Will. Show you.

Whats funny is that sybil said it would ruin the world if even one person gained that knowledge and sybil was actually correct. the second we gain that knowledge the whole world is doomed. everyone ends up becoming one with us and being absorbed into the visitor.

It's cognito hazard, not incognito hazard

I have a slightly different thought about the Unity ending: its an interpretation of reality that eats away at reality itself, subject to the whims of whoever learns of it. In Sam's case, all he wanted was to be accepted, so all he read was that everything was one.
I think this is why the "True Final Ending" is what it is: Sam's interpretation of the world around him infecting the Visitor instead.

I guess I can understand why some people exhibit more individualism, distortion, and power.
If all matter is the Visitor's, it's kind of like a lucid dream: the more aware of it you are, the more you can interact with it, even if it's all unintentional.
But you can't become too aware of it...
Those with a high ego or strong individualism are able to gain more control or greater power because the transformative force acting on them has a stronger conduit allowing them to "shape themselves" if you will.

I'm sure someone else could explain it better than that. And I'm sure theres another psychological reason as for why some people have multiple personalities going on with their transformation.

I’m glad this was posted after my month long addiction

*THEORY*
It COULD be that Sybil is all at fault because she was thinking too hard about it. It could be that the Visitor connects to anyone that has gazed upon it. And it's other ability is reality warping defined on what it thinks or is made to believe is true. Maybe Sybil was insane from the start, imagining changes after observing the Visitor and then, because of the connection to the Visitor through it's observation, Sybil's mind played tricks on her. The Visitor took these as straight facts, causing REAL changes in Sybil and therefor giving the Visitor the ground rule: If I'm connected/observed/observe something, things change. In other words - Sybil gave these life-altering abilities to the Visitor.

Sam's plant only starts to mutate after a few days, despite being incapable of perceiving the Visitor. This is because Sybil gave it the ability to change all life it observes and my theory is, that the Visitor only noticed the plant through the window sills after some time.

This almost certainly has to be true, because at some point in time some human or random happenstance had to have made a depiction of the Visitor, but nothing happened. Either because The Visitor did not get the ability to warp life via connection or observation OR because the Visitor does have a distance limit to it's connection ability.

Also, because Sybil believes to be too far apart from Earth now, her perceived knowledge of everything being Visitor-matter does not work, because the Visitor received from Sybil: ''Oh, she's too far apart from this planet now to have this rule work. Guess it doesn't work for her.''
