im sure when they set the ft/lbs at factory they use a heavy pellet (18 grains ). and not use a lighter pellets? if i was to set my pcp up at 11.5ft/lbs with 15.89 grain pellets then use a 18.13 grain pellet it would take it over the legal limit ... try some 18 grain pellets you'll find your ft/lbs will be closer too the 11.5 ft/lbs as advertised.....looks like a nice pcp and accurate straight out of the box with no barrel cleaning
Thanks a lot Terry for the offer but as I already have one I would only be greedy to except another one I am sure some one else deserves it more appreciate the offer thanks am looking forward to getting spacer you are making for me wish you all the best Levi 👍
This is definitely the rifle for me, cracking accuracy, every video ive watched speaks of its quality at its price point. Will be fitting a Lane regulator immediately when i do, ive seen some great results from the Empire X and other Krals with the work done. Nice one chief, happy shooting 🙏
I can't see from your video if your FX radar is fitted to your barrel Terry ? when I use mine I fit it on a small tripod and shoot just above it and I have found that if I deviate from that it affects the readings quite a lot , if the rifle is higher or the radar not aligned with the direction of travel properly I get lower velocity. I really ought to try it barrel mounted again but don't really want it to affect the zero.
I think the power thing is one of choice the bench shooters (i think) are shooting in the 10 fb + power band. Obviously if you're out pesting then the power may count, depending on distance. As usual Terry, good vid, and don"t disturb those planes with noise from your shooting.😊
Lovely looking gun and accurate too, ref the power I think Hunterboy has a point, because it’s not regulated you will have excessive back pressure on the valve with a full fill, it would be interesting to do another chrono test after you cleaned your barrel and the pressure around 170 which will be right in the power curve. Once again thanks for sharing your experience. 👍🏴
Not into .22 i only shoot .177 but 8.44 will give me 11.5lb but 10.65 is near likit ,are these oellets you are using atvthe topcweight likit, you might have more power
Hi Terry, yes a very accurate rifle over 24 yrds but I would not go hunting with such low power over any kind of distance beyond say 10 yrds but ideal for back yard plinking. Really annoying Range Right adjust the power to be so low and they should put actual ft/lbs on the sheet and not what they think is correct, basically its false info tbh, Paul.
