While the “Farmer’s best friend” likely refers to Post War, the idea that the cows were units is cool. Maybe the whole reason Brahmin survived so well is because they were genetic units pre-war

The Trench Knife from Fallout 3 appears to be based off of the M1917 US Trench Knife, that also features a spiked hand guard, though not as severe as the one in game.

Ya'll don't know what to ask for at all. I would love to see a "Junk Items of Fallout part 1"

In FO4, I like to give my settlement scavengers a Pipe Wrench so they walk around their settlement with it out looking like they are ready to tackle any problems plumbing related or Raider related. The other option for this is the Sledgehammer.

The Cultist dagger is more likely attached to the jaw bone of a bovine or equine animal. Most likely, it is that of a donkey, given the structure of the lower jaw and teeth shown on the model. It also has a potential biblical connotation, as it was said that Samson wielded a donkey's jaw against the Philistines.
Edit: The Fallout Fandom wiki explicitly states this to be a human jaw bone, however, I could not find any additional information to either debunk or sustain this claim and given the anatomy of the jaw used in the model more closely resembles a donkey's lower jaw bone, I must conclude on my own that it is a donkey jaw bone, based solely on anatomical consistencies.

Could you do the canned food as well I think that would be pretty cool. Maybe a part 2 for basic foods from animals.

I remember in fallout 3 where Moira Mentions brahmin milk as rad cleansing, maybe somehow their milk shares some of the same properties of radaway.

Rewatching and totally missed this rad king lore drop 12:23 with a passion for specific details in all things fallout I’m surprised

Some unique knives that were looked over were Stab Happy, Occam’s Razor, and Blood Nap. An overlooked wrench in FO4 is Big Jim.

Id love to see "comics/magazines from the wasteland" its be a pain to cover them all, but it'd still be cool

I just want to take a moment to appreciate Fallout 3 / New Vegas for their melee combat. When coupled with the Bloody Mess perk it is the most satisfying play style imo. Turning raiders into paste with a Super Sledge never gets old. :P

It would have been good to have a non-lethal option with the police baton, Deus Ex style.

I think a video comparing pre and post war wildlife and theories on how they changed and what they might have been would be cool

really like how you listen to the community and read the comments, i suggest keeping this features in as many of your future vids as you can.

As someone who always uses a mele build this is gonna be great

Trench knives of ww1 really did sometimes have spiked hand guards, as well as knuckle dusters etc built in.

You missed the throwing spears you get at the beginning of Fallout: New Vegas with the Courier's Stash DLC.

In fallout 4 there is a unique monkey wrench called Big Jim in the raider base at Malden (Walden?) pond. It’s on a shelf by the ladder to the store. It disarms or cripples, something like that

Currently doing a melee-only playthrough of NV, so this video was very interesting!

FO3's Trench Knife is my favorite knife in all of Fallout and I really want one like it IRL.
