There was massive inflation PRIOR to the bombs dropping. So the price was reflective of what it cost at the time. Remember, there were riots happening due to resource scarcity all across the US.

If you don't feel bad about the Rocket's Red Glare quest at any point up until planting the bombs, there's a kid's chalk drawing on the catwalk near where you plant the last charge to just REALLY hammer home that you're going to be burning children to death by completing the quest.

I love Gauge in the background there, looking at the Shroud like, "there he goes on ALL the chems, thinkin' he's a superhero again." Overboss Colter comments on the Shroud getup for a sentence prior to the boss fight, but you don't get to say anything to him as the Shroud.

Fallout really recorded voicelines for everything! I actually had Nick call Dogmeat because I never met him. I had no idea you could just troll as Shroud. 😂

Do some people not hear Nick Valentine whistle for dogmeat? I just assumed thr noise is there because most media includes a high pitched noise when people use a dog whistle as a sound effect.

There wasn't additional inflation over the years for the bowling game. You need to keep in mind that when the bombs dropped, a cup of coffee and a donut cost $35

Not quite as obscure as waiting until after the main quest to meet the minutemen, but I've gotten into the habit of waiting until after Nuka World to meet them.  
Most people know that Preston will abandon you permanently if you progress Nuka World's plot far enough that you're building Raider Settlements in the commonwealth.  
However, some of the best items and perks in the game are only gotten by completing Power Play, so it's supposed to be a tradeoff - be the evil warlord and get the perks, or be the good guy and miss out.
But, if you skip concord at the start, as detailed in this video, level up, go to Nuka World, finish the whole raider plot through Power Play, then turn on them, do Open Season, wipe out the commonwealth settlements and the remaining raider bosses, then finally go to Concord and meet Preston, he's happy to see you and acts like it never happened.
So, it's not exactly a unique interaction, more a way to avoid the interaction you'd get in the normal order.
Also - if you've never met the minutemen at Concord, they'll still show up in random encounters.  They'll be friendly until you turn on them, but killing them in random encounters doesn't affect joining them later.

Probably not, but I will say it is, as otherwise is just inconceivable

A much better version of #1 is heading straight to the Memory Den in Goodneighbor, doing the Memory Den quest, and getting the quest to find Nick Valentine from the owner of the establishment.

Having only just entered into the fallout universe, it makes me so happy to see people actively making content for it still :)

there are also some alternate endings outside of dialogue but during dialogue sequences, like during that quest when the brotherhood discovers danse is a synth, you can take the options via the dialogue, or you can sentence danse and get out of dialogue then shoot Elder Maxon just before his exicutes danse, my personally favorite ending lol.
