Celsius= how the environment reacts to temperature, Fahrenheit= how the human body reacts to temperature.

The biggest slap in the face? Government buildings have ac in Europe.
The politicians can have it, but God forbid any of the people who actually need it get it.😡

The 60,000 people America lost in the Vietnam war was over a 10-year period, the 175,000 figure was for one year.

People who defend celcius only know celcius. Americans are familiar with both and we still choose fahrenheit for the reasons Fat Electrician mentioned.

When the Summer Olympics were in France the housing for athletes was not air conditioned! America paid to send the teams with window unit air conditioners & had them installed in every room with athletes from the USA. France was told to take their green house gas rules & put them some place uncomfortable, because American athletes must be allowed to rest well in comfortable conditions in order to perform at their best.

The only other time I see Nick this mad is when he talks about communism.

Thus PROVING how INSANE the French and UK trade agreements are! They won't allow Carrier or any other manufacturer to sell over THERE! These Indian folks own there own Carrier you heard them yourself like normal people! India has FAR , FAR better trade agreements than France and the UK. I'm not sure who the India President is but they're doing a WAY better job caring for there people than France and the UK that's for sure.

Oh thank GOD India is with us on this.

India and Americans have a completely different understanding of what "heat" actually MEANS (feels like) than most European countries. Because when you look at the longitude/latitude of America and India, you find a large portion of both countries match up closer than America/Europe match up. So yeah, A/C in America and India makes a LOT of sense.

Fahrenheit degrees have smaller increases per degree. It really it more accurate.

So it isn't just the USA, folks all over the world get it---Yes air conditioning is great! Except for Europe---they'd rather sweat and see the elderly die. Crazy.

Fahrenheit = how humans feel about it
Celsius = how water feels about it
Kelvin = how Atoms feel about it

I couldn’t imagine being operated on in a non-air conditioned hospital. Then recovering in a room in said non-air conditioned hospital 😮

No American politician would ever try to pass a ban on AC in the USA because they would first be laughed at, then voted out of office in the next election despite what party they’re from. All politicians know you don’t mess with our comfort…..PERIOD 😂

Americans do know Celsius.....its because we know celsius is that we dont judge or go by celsius.

The funny part is this: We (Americans) use metric system — but we ALSO use the kings old system for fun and to stay unique. It’s a cultural thing. I use to be in Aerosoace and I promise we only used metric. But as soon as I need to put gas in my car after work, I’m measuring in gallons. lol it’s just us being extra complicated and American.
