They also need a recycling bin and a bigger sign about the paper to stop ads. A lot of that stuff can get recycled.Thank you for cleaning up 😊

I’ve actually done this here in North Carolina, and the disgusting part is watching people drive by, throw more trash out the window, and laugh while im standing there picking it up!  Even one of my own neighbors — perfectly friendly to my face — throws garbage out of her car often as she drives by.

Some people would rather throw trash into the community they live in than let it sit for five minutes inside the nice new car they can barely afford the monthly payments on.

That isn’t ignorance. It’s laziness, entitlement, and a complete lack of respect for everyone else. People who clean up after this kind of behavior deserve a hell of a lot more respect than the people creating the mess.

Love the set up you have. Everything  you need  with you  on wheels.  I bet it cost less to make than the ones they sell that only hold one bag and no extras. This is the first time I've seen  your channel.  I subscribed.  Looking forward to seeing  more  from you.  Keep up the good work! Thank you!

Just came across this channel now. Thank you for your service to the community! Bless your heart!

I watch Chili too. I'm in Alberta, we've had those mailboxes for years.

Well done. You made a difference. 😺🎉

If that happens here in the United States I would litter pick it and take it to the post office and drop it in the postmaster General's office and say here you go

Those massive mail box walls are not only ugly, they are also dangerous.  I would hate to walk past them at night or to have to pick up my mail in the evening after work.  They are the perfect cover for muggers, rapists and murderers.  If the Canadian Postal Service isn't capable of doing its job, it should just shut down and let private mail delivery companies do it. You can bet that the government will waste millions on this scheme, find out it doesn't work (probably after a lawsuit), and then go back to home deliveries.

the culprits are very known to everybody and the only solution is heavy fines these people came from societies without law and order and only fear enforcement of the law.

Hey, your name came up in my feed and I remembered you commenting on my last video! 3059 views and counting - well done! Have subscribed. 🙂 Ian

I've gone back to getting my bills by paper and I pay my checks because electronic payments and all of that are no longer convenient they put you through the wringer just to make sure that you are you and that you can actually get to your accounts I'm done with all that it's too stressful it's not easier to get my mail and write a check so I've gone back to the old way and it's perfect cut out all my stress I have no problem getting mail a couple times a week instead of every day but I certainly want to see our mail here in the United States delivered to the homes there's a lot of people that can't get out to go pick it up somewhere else

must be where your from ,we dont have this problem at out community mail box in Nova Scotia. As a long time litter picker we recycle what we pick up.

London level is WORSE, the U K has absolutely no deposit/refund program on their plastic, metal, glass and cardboard box individual beverage containers. I too watch Chilli and Gerard  and it looks like the tongs might be more popular and effective .

Yes you definitely need a little shovel because doing it this way it's very painful to watch😅

Maybe the Postal Service needs to send a designated employee there every single week to clean it up

Yeah that's going to be a huge problem having the junk mail just tossed on the ground like that and people are going to do it especially if they don't provide a bin for it these are supposed to be intelligent people in our leadership and they don't have two working brain cells

Did someone just move Canada to West London?! 😂
Just discovered your channel and the sterling work you're doing. What a madcap idea by Canada postal service...worthy of something the British govt might come up with..I did notice the complete absence of bottles and cans which plague our country till we get a deposit scheme. I think what you regard as a 'mess' we would just say is a bit untidy we've become so de-sensitised to litter😢
Good to see things from a Canadian perspective🇬🇧 ❤🇨🇦

Thank you for clarifying where you're located I think I asked on the last video I watched my father's family is from a place a little bit south of Montreal but part of Montreal and I'd have to look back in the family history which I have here at some point I can do to see where they were from but they migrated down to Burlington Vermont for a better life back at the 1920s my dad was the first child of 17 to be born in the United States growing up I couldn't understand a word my grandfather said because he only spoke French Canadian I'm sure there are many many of my relatives still there as my last name is Lascelles.

I use those cheap grippers from the Dollar stores, should probably try the one you have. I started cleaning up trash after getting tired of seeing all that garbage while walking my dogs. It only takes one slob to mess up a neighborhood if left unchecked. You definitely go places I haven't, I stick to my walking paths and public parks.

Definitely London level! Mind-boggling. You know, if they had paper recycling boxes right next to the mailboxes, many people still wouldn't use them. I know that people don't want cameras everywhere, but that mailbox area would be a really good place for one in order to identify litterers, because they're probably littering elsewhere too. Thank you, Corey! (did I spell your name right? that's how the subtitles had it in an older video)
