The unique final lap jingle as you soar back down to earth with the whole whorld in front of you... phenomenal.

You can tell JUST by PK's face that he is ABSORBED in this course.

4:42-4:43 that very brief moment of silence followed by that drumfill was the game’s way to tell you “This is it. Thank you for joining us on this journey. Now, let’s send you off with a bang!”

This is the most genuine reaction I've seen of these Rainbow Road reaction videos. I've been trying to think about exactly why this course hit so hard for me to the point of holding back tears and I think you saying "I'm so happy" near the end sums it up. I'm not sure I've ever been happier playing a video game in my life than playing this course for the first time. It builds your expectations exponentially from a mere "I hope this is going to be an awesome Mario Kart track" to something far greater in the drive up to the portal and then continuously blows away those raised expectations the entire way through.

Possibly the greatest Rainbow Road ever!

I don't know what possessed them to go SO HARD on rainbow road this time, but WOW all that teasing and hype for it was WORTH IT

You would not believe how many tears I saw when seeing this for the first time. This whole tracks felt like you were driving up to heaven. It was beautiful.

The water portion is what got me. That shade of blue with the night sky lit up with the Lumas and Toads just hanging out on the bridge celebrating you

Peak.

My reaction when I played Rainbow Road myself was "THAT is how you do a Rainbow Road !"

I totally feel PK's tears at the end of the race. It's by far the greatest finish course Nintendo was able to pull off, in both scenery and feeling.

You totally feel playing on this track is the ultimate goal of Mario Kart's racers, and winning it is the ultimate goal !!!!

Me racing Rainbow World for the first time...
1:10 "It's enough to make a grown man cry, but not this man. GET back in there tear."
2:50 😮‍💨
4:38 "It's enough to make a grown man cry... And that's okay. You go ahead and fall tear."

I love that this Rainbow Road implements little things from previous iterations while also being fresh and original!

This is now my favourite Rainbow Road in the series! It really feels like a true celebration of this game.
The first couple of times I played this track, I started to tear up a bit from the final section just from how beautiful everything just fit together, with the music, the party train following you, the space station section before that (which reminded me of SNES Rainbow Road with the Thwomps), just it felt like a complete Rainbow Road adventure! It is THE perfect Rainbow Road!
Loved the video PK! 🔥

I haven't seen this channel for YEARS. I used to watch your Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Mario Luigi Dream Team videos. Used to quote "SON OF A BISCUIT" all the time! Glad you're still kickin' it, man!
