Kool & The Gang - Celebration has got to be one of the top party songs ever.

Kool n The Gang has the hits. Their music catalogue is outstanding. Superb musicianship. Foundational rhythm & blues band

This is when R&B/Funk was at its peak. Kool & The Gang have made some of the best R&B/Funk music. "Joanna", "Ladies Night", " Celebration", "Cherish", "Too Hot", "Jungle Boogie" and more.

The woman playing Cinderella in the video is dancer Darcel Wynne. Sorry Cam, you missed the boat, she's 73 now.

My brother was a touring drummer for decades, and one night in New Orleans he was taking a break between sets when a guy came up and shook his hand. "Ya'll are good. I'm cool," he said, and it took my brother a second to realize that it was Robert Bell and he was really saying "I'm Kool"

I miss being young. Living this timeline is exhausting... EVERYTHING was better then.

Kool & Gang has two eras , from the early 70’s to the late 70’s, the Funk/Soul/Jazz era , and they had many R&B hits , then they added lead singer James “ JT” Taylor and had even more success as R&B/Soul/Pop, with them having even more R&B and Pop hits from the late 70’s to the late 80’s .
