Thank you so much for this. I was about 6-7years old when they were racing. Tan colored building on the 3rd corner was the Feltex carpet factory. If you went through that corner over the bridge we lived in the 2nd house on the left. Racing fuel and fresh hay bales. Nothing better in the whole world

How a bike puts power down on the track coming out of a corner is the key to EVERYTHING. Also think the 4 strokes handled the bumps at the Cemetery better.

I remember having such high expectations of the RG500 and being surprised how the F1 bikes dominated. I don’t think k I have ever seen this footage. A very different t perspective from watching g behind the hay bales. Really brought home some memories.
