I did a conversion myself about 2 years ago and it is working just awesome ,the cheese greater case was just too beautiful to throw away, i must admit mine looks nothing as nice as yours but it works thanks for sharing , great work .

I ended up going with the two-fan bezel model you added, so I could keep the optical drive/power supply shelf and drive mounts. For it all to fit, I had to trim off a section for both pieces of the factory PSU shelf so the ATX mobo would fit. Of course if you do this, pay extra care to file off any jagged edges to protect your HDAUDIO, USB, and front panel connectors. Additionally, I used some electrical tape against the edges to give additional protection to the wires, but I'm going to print a rectangular TPU piece with a slit to feed cables through and to cover any edges from this hole. Your video and parts have been invaluable resources to this project :)

Also, my 2011 Mac Pro came with an additional part in the bottom of the case which needed to be removed by drilling the rivets, which could only be accessed by separating the middle portion of the case from the wraparound exterior with the handles. Without removing this piece, the fullsize ATX tray won't fit.

Could you make a version retains the hdd bays and also leave room for a dvd drive? The whole appeal of the old Mac Pros was their versatility and upgradability.
