Thank you so much! As usual this was a great interview. Thank you for assisting me as I explore the Orthodox faith!

From🇪🇹 love you all
Specially for this channel owner iron lady❤❤ keep working keep spreading the true gospel of jesus from oriental perspective❤❤

Praise be to the Lord for raising people like Dawit in our Church to meet the needs of our time.
I am especially touched by his humility in choosing to experience firsthand what it means to be a student in such an austere environment, without the comforts that someone who grew up in the West may be accustomed to.

Although I am a cradle Orthodox Tewahedo Christian, I had never realized how the five pillars connect and flow together. Seeing them explained this way was truly enlightening.

Dear Deacon and hola this was a amazing and inspiring episode.Thank you.One thing that dcn. said that really stuck out to me is the church doesn't need fixed. As a Westerner we should think on this deeply.

I apperciate you speciale for guest ethiopians in the platform to everyone see the tradition

I’m an american watching from Mount Athos. I’ve lived here for over 3 months under obedience to the fathers. I was waiting for him to talk about his obedience living in “the monastery” or even which monastery he lived at.

Thank you both for sharing! May God guide, protect, and bless you both.

In order to reciprocate that labor of love of yours in making this video, i share back to you and your audience the following:
The Ethiopian translation of the sacred Scriptures was translated from the Greek edition of the Seventy/Septuagint into Geʽez.

The current plethora of false English translations of the Ethiopian Bible are based on the Hebrew text, the same which Justin Martyr and Irenaeus both individually strongly wrote was corrupted with falsifications and mutilations.

That the Hebrew text was corrupted is the very reason why all Church translations into other languages were, and are only done (in Orthodox nations), based on the Greek Septuagint text.

The West departed from this tradition with the 405-AD Vulgate Bible. And all Protestant triflations have stuck to the Hebrew text like glue even when sometimes claiming otherwise. There is one probable exception, but there are no extant copies of the first edition of the so-called (John) Wycliffe Bible in order to know for sure.

Note that the Orthodox Study Bible is another false translation, it being an unstated 50/50 mix of the corrupted Hebrew text and the Septuagint.

Note that the NETS translation of the Septuagint is stated by the translators, in their preface, is based on the NRSV (which is based on the corrupted Hebrew text.)

The corruption in the Hebrew text goes far  far beyond just verses directly quoted by in the New Testament and prophetic verses.

This I sadly know and say from my direct textual knowledge having diligently searched the Scriptures in order to produce a very refined and comprehensive chart of verses for others to make their own comparisons of such verses to see enough of what they've been missing by having been just reading their English Bible of choice.

Just drop a line to me at hilohouserepairs  @ g mail and request the chart and i will happily email it to you and i won't initiate further contact unless you reach out with questions about the chart, me, and/or any aspect of the history surrounding the Septuagint and how the Dead Sea Scrolls figure in.

The Truth rules.

Holy Love of Christ bless.
