Well, nothing like being seven years late lol. I love handwork, and hate machine work. So when I found this, I thought this is just amazing. I do some hand embroidery, but right now I’m into the scrappy look and this is just perfect. I have subscribed to your channel and will go back through a lot of your videos while I’m either doing my punch needle or other hand work.

I am so glad that I noticed your channel. My great grandmother sewed crazy quilts by hand using fabrics from suits and dresses of her ancestors. I inherited and eventually lost 2 of her quilts which caused me no end of regret. I often thought about making one, but had no idea of how they were done, except for a short explanation by my grandmother many years ago. I have some sewing projects on-going and am saving all the scraps. All I need now is the muslin. Thank you.

I love hand sewing. I’m going to try to do things like you did here. I love that you say not to worry about trying to make things perfect and it’s okay if things are off and don’t match up. I really want to learn how to make crazy quilts. And I just didn’t know where or how to start.
