Whitney is the GOAT, period. This was a masterclass in singing, presence, superstar energy, beauty, everything. The best to ever do it. There will never be another.

There was no auto tune back then . When u see and listen to her , u believe that GOD do exists ....

Whitney is The Voice. Period. Thank goodness I was lucky enough to be alive when this aired. We witnessed something that won't happen again in this lifetime ❤❤

The greatest vocalist and singer of all time for me! The Voice, miss Whitney Houston!

100% LIVE NO BACKING TRACKS like some other singers we know...SHE WAS THE GREATEST VOCALIST OF ALL TIME!

I miss Whitney so much.

She was the best and will always be!!! RIP Whitney.❤❤

The reason why she did the Star-Spangled Banner a cappella was because it was a response to the controversy about her Super Bowl performance not being live , even though she wanted it to be live (during the performance she was actually singing, but they played the recorded track over her).
So she and the producer shut the haters down by doing it live. Something Beyoncé would also end up doing years later

I was fortunate enough to see Whitney in 1986. I was 16 years old. One of the best days of my life.

There will never be another like her.

Yep. She uses every fiber in her body when she sings. All muscle groups. She gives it her all.
Love her.

Best Concert ..Whitney gave and the Concert in South Africa is a Close Second

l love her forever.
hank you young man

ALL HAIL VOICE!  The One, the Only!  WHITNEY!  ❤❤❤❤👑👑👑👑👑👑

I love Whitney live even more

I always found the last lyrics from Greatest Love of All so deeply touching:

"And if, by chance, that special place that you've been dreaming of leads you to a lonely place, find your strength in love"

Nobody can ever take Whitneys place. I miss that beautiful voice so much. 🎉😂❤

One Word... G.O.A.T.

Whitney Houston is the greatest female vocalist of all time. People can argue or debate that... pitting her against the likes of Barbra Streisand, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, etc. I have nothing but love for these vocalists and I mean no disrespect. But, vocal acrobatics aside, the quality and characteristics of Whitney's voice cannot be matched. Her tone and timbre are like no other. and the frequency of her vibrato is sheer perfection. These soothing qualities harken amazing vocalists such as Karen Carpenter and Olivia Newton-John. Adding Whitney's control, pitch accuracy, range and her ability to use melisma when, where and how often is what sets her apart from everyone else. I'm so glad I was around to witness her God-given talents and heart-broken that she left us way to soon. RIP angel.

My #1 musical idol as a female child in the 80s GOAT❤ 🔥
