I'm disappointed how little publicity Terrence Stamps passing got, he was a tremendous actor with great presence. RIP

One of the most beautiful movies ever made, in my opinion.

I met Mr. Terrance Stamp in Soho, London in the spring/summer of 2008. I was studying reportage portraiture . I did say the line “Kneel Before Zod” to which he laughed. I then took picture of him to which he said to me if your a photographer then you know light. It was a tremendous compliment at a time when I was absolutely struggling with my craft. Tremendous Man.

My mother was on holiday in Weymouth and saw him filming Far from the Madding Crowd and declared that he was the most handsome man that she had ever seen.

Dear god they've lost not only the ability to produce actors of this calibre but the ability to produce cinematography of this beauty these days

Rest in peace Terrence Stamp 1938 - 2025 movie legends never die

Time to revisit Terence's grand 60s era. RIP ❤

My mother introduced me to one of her favorite films, Far From the Madding Crowd, when I was a child. I can’t tell you how many times she and I have watched it since. At this point it’s a yearly tradition. Rest in peace, Mr. Stamp, your legend will only grow.

Great Actor.. great film!!
Julie wonderful too
Condolences to his family🙏🏻♥️🌹

France had Alain Delon ....we had Terence Stamp ..... piercing blue eyed handsome hunks! ❤❤

It's a wonderful scene. You can pinpoint the exact moment the flirty Bathsheba realises she's way our of her depth.

It hits me every time. Perhaps because I too am an actor and a stage director, but indeed, every time someone who was a part of my life, either on stage or in movies, and from whom I was somehow inspired in my own career leaves us, there's always that very strange feeling deep inside of me that someone of my family has died.
It is a deep and churning feeling inside me, a deep sorrow and a loss of a good friend, even if I never met my fellow thespian at all. But because I learned so much from each and everyone of them, including Terence Stamp, such loss leaves a deep gap inside of me. It's as if a part of me got ripped off my loins.
Don't ask me why I feel so deeply, I simply do not know and I myself have no explanation why this is.
No matter if it is an actor, an actress or even a director calling curtains, it's always the same.
It is probably because I will never be able to follow them further in their careers, or because I felt part of this great community of performers, but reality still stands that we all, sooner or later will have to leave this huge stage we call Earth, our task accomplished, for better or for worse but always with a great passion and love for what we are so fortunate to convey unto others.
And once again, someone I had known at a distance since I was a teenager leaves us with his memories  of what was a great time to be alive, when the theatre was very much alive and when movies were well worth watching.
I wish him a safe sailing among those clouds of imagination and that firmament of utter splendor and creativity. May he live in all our memories with fond remembrances of who he was and what he left behind for us to remember him by. Goodbye my dear spiritual mentor, you were one of those few who inspired me to constantly do better and never be discouraged by rejections of any kind. Farewell my dear friend.

RIP and thank you for all the great movies.

RIP Terence Stamp
