Who knows how Nathaniel got so many jobs so quickly

This was definitely one of Disney's best work back then. The amalgamation of different tropes and princesses then the subversion of it.

13:43 She's the voice actress for Ariel in the Little Mermaid and you can even hear Part of Your World playing before Giselle left the front desk.

To answer your question about prince's jaw... Yes, yes he does always looks like that. James Marsden still has his jaw very chiseled till this day and it's crazy

Took me a few times to notice but I absolutely love that the "man" she created at the beginning is wearing an outfit like Robert wears to the ball at the end to show that he was her true love the whole time.

I also love that the receptionist is the voice of Ariel and the narrator is Mary Poppins!

Nancy's last name is Tremaine, in reference to the evil stepmother from Cinderella.

This gets even better when you remember she WAS the stepmother in Camille's Cinderella

Fun fact: my niece is named Gisele because of this movie ❤

At the beginning, it was basically Disney making fun of itself, with the true love's kiss and getting married right away tropes. They were showing how naive that world was, and then brought her to the real world. This was the first time Disney had tried this, and it was a smash. They were trying to change their typical tropes, so they did this.

The telenovela has a bunch of references in one:

The female soap star “Angela” (so named for Angela Lansbury, who voiced Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast) is played by Paige O’Hara, the voice of Belle. “Angela” is arguing with a man named “Jerry” (Jerry Orbach voiced Lumiere) because she’s having an affair with a man named “Ogden” (David Ogden Stiers voiced Cogsworth). This soap opera scene is scored with music from Beauty and the Beast.

11:02 Enchanted is a classic. A lawyer and single father's life is turned upside down when he falls in love with a princess from an animated fantasy world.

The troll was wearing Ariels shell bra as earrings, and his loincloth had Cinderellas maid outfit, and auroras rose outfit, Belle’s village dress, and Snow White’s rags.

The final, lightning-struck battle is a homage to the battles in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast.

This movie is so incredibly funny. It completely caught me off guard. And, yeah, the ball scene was one of the best scenes on film: so much was said without a single line of dialogue.

giselle is basically a 4th dimesional being warping reality around her on a whim (a la spontaneous song and dance number and the animals thing) and i love it so much

The neighbor with a bunch of kids, the one that said Edward was "too late", was the voice actress for Pocahontas.

Just have to shout-out how perfect James Marsden is as the Prince. 😂😂😂 That hand bite he does lives in my head rent-free. 😂😂😂

James Mardsen gave %100 to this role. Giving just the right amount of extraness to really make The Prince, well the Prince.

Movie is crazy. We got Lois lane, Elsa, Peter pettigrew, cyclops, and Janet from rocky horror show all in a princess movie adventure narrated by the queen of genovia!

I believe there were three other Disney princesses in the movie.  The receptionist was Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid (hence the aquarium and Giselle with the fish in her mouth).   The mom with all the kids who said, "You're too late", when Edward was knocking on doors in the apartment building was Judy Kuhn, the singing voice of Pocahontas.   The soap opera actress was Paige O''Hara who played the voice of Belle from Beauty and the Beast.  And of course, Idina Menzel, playing Nancy, became a future Disney Princess, Elsa, in Frozen.

Nancy is Idina Menzel who voices Elsa. Had to say it, I didn’t see the comment yet lol
