“They should revolt” as Hannah describes the plot of Descendants two…

Fun fact: Dove Cameron is actually a fan of Kristin Chenoweth and considers her one of her inspirations, so being her daughter on two musicals (Descendants and Hairspray Live) is such a huge thing for her :))

Hannah: "wow carlos is an amazing dancer" Me: * bursts into tears *

“And I really wish that you hadn’t gotten there yourself.” That has got to be one of the most powerful lines in a Disney movie.

According to the Descendants novels Carlos’s mom used to treat him so badly that she made him sleep on the floor of her closet (which was also his room) and told him scary stories about dogs in order to control him.

i love how she guessed the whole plot correctly within the first ten minutes

Some facts for you: Carlos—played by Cameron Boyce—actually passed away after the third film of a complication of epileptic seizures. They plan to make a fourth film, in which they will address his passing in some way and work to honor him.

On a happier note, you’ve also seen Jay—played by Booboo Stewart—has been on your channel before! If you rewatch the video for Julie and the Phantoms’ song “The Other Side of Hollywood,” you’ll notice him at the table with the boys! His character’s name is Willy, and he and Alex (the drummer) have a sweet little romance arc.

25:07 Don’t worry, everyone hates it too. It would’ve been the perfect time to add flashbacks of Mal’s childhood and why she is the way she is, but instead they just reused clips we saw like 20 minutes ago

“Teenage boys have a tendency to be trash”

Me, a teenage boy: Hey not true, we can also be douchebags

In an interview, Dove said during the “Like Me” scene she was like freaking out inside cause Kristen is such an idol to her. And getting to sing with her was a dream.

"Carlos can dance!"

Not an exaggeration. Cameron Boyce was one of the best disney stars ever period. May he rest in peace. <3

Fun fact : the line that dove said “ is this just a dream “ it’s actually first referencing how in the first descendants book mal had a dream of that exact moment of the date Ben .

For those here who didn’t read the first book, Mal and Ben had weird dreams about each other since before they even met and that is why in the movie they looked at each other like that when they met, not because they liked each other but because they saw each other’s faces in their dreams and that is what made them start to like each other.

It has nothing to do with the video I’m just saying it cuz that look never made sense to me until I read the book.

It gets even more dark when you remember that some villains were brought back from THE DEAD to be banished to the isle…

Carlos was taught as a child that dogs were dangerous and would hurt him. So his mother told him that so he would do anything Cruella said without question.

Given Disney's track record with "family is everything, you should love them no matter what" movies, I really apreciate that they did the villains as lousy parents the kids had complicated relationships with, but that the royals weren't always good paarens either. There''s many kids out there that really need a "ypu're not your parents and it's not your fault they don't love you" message. Also, making Audrey a mean girl and Chad an ass also makes it a "your upbringing isn't a clear mark of who you are" message, which I also love

No one:
Not a single villain:
Not a single auradorian:

Hannah: FUND 👏🏾THE 👏🏾SLUMS

Yeah, to say Cameron Boyce, the actor for Carlos, was a good dancer isn't an overexaggeration in any way. It was one of his many traits as an actor. He was truly talented in every sense of the word. May he rest in peace.

how dystopian is it for them to condemn the CHILDREN of "evil" people to the slums like they basically force them into an evil existence and then condemn them for it it's a self fulfilling prophecy

2021 being 5 yrs ago is crazy 😭
