The infected are in a constant state of anger and rage so actually being sble to calm down must feel so amazing and alien to them.

"I would like a cheeseburger."

I like that you can tell Samson is trying to goad Kelson into darting him because he figured ”I attack & he does thing that makes me feel good”

Kelson is probably this franchise's best character. I love that he saw Samson as a friend. Not a test subject, not an animal to study, but a friend that he needed to help. Such a compassionate character. An archetype I don't think I've seen in any zombie/horror movie in a long time, if ever.

Even the rage virus is no match against the fentanyl

damn didn't know many would like my joke

two ways to tame things:
1. food.
2. make them feel good.

Imagine the relief he felt after feeling nothing but rage for over 28 years… being able to just sit down and take a deep breath. Man I loved this movie

I love that Alphas have higher cognitive function so when they get addicted they try to think of ways to get what they need like you can tell that Alpha was up all night like "ok he's gonna be in the field and im gonna pretend to ambush him, but im gonna give him some breathing room so he can hit me"

I was worried that Bone Temple wasnt gonna get weird and trippy like the first one did with its cinematography, then I got to the scene with Kelson dancing to Duran Duran with a zombie high on opiates and I knew everything was gonna be perfect

Even if a cure was possible. Once they return to their normal human state, the psychological damage to the realization that you’ve been murdering/eating people regularly might be worse than the infection itself

@Asphaltmonkey0 7 months ago

My favorite part of watching the progession of Samson's treatment throughout the movie is that the hemorrhaging in his eyes slowly fades to the point that they look completely normal at the end of the movie

sleeping next to an infected, that guy is ready to die lol

@CT-1902 7 months ago

It's immediate pain relief. They must be in constant pain

@Oni-Lyrics 5 months ago

what's cool is samons realizes he'll kill the guy when it wears off so he leaves before it does

@haskamoosic9371 7 months ago

I noticed that before the drugs samsons eyes are blood red, like the rest of those infected with rage, but in that last scene his eyes have returned to more of a brown colour
