You installed the last bearing upside down. The side of the bearing that balls are not visible should be on the top of the drag

Let’s be real. Some people act like keeping everything stock somehow makes them a better angler. But if you look at Daiwa’s top-end reel like the Exist, they actually put bearings in that exact spot to improve the drag system. That’s not ego,  that’s engineering.
The 26 Certate LT4000-CXH-ARK comes with 12 bearings, while the 24 Certate LT4000D-CXH-ARK has 10.
The extra two are:

• Spool Shaft Bearing (1170): 11mm × 7mm × 3mm

• Internal Spool Bearing (1060): 10mm × 6mm × 3mm

Now, why 3mm instead of 2.5mm?
Simple. 3mm bearings are more solid for heavy saltwater use. They’re stronger and can hold more grease, which helps with durability during long fights.
The only trade-off is that you’ll need to leave out a small retainer in the internal spool assembly since the 3mm bearing sits slightly higher. But once everything is assembled (even without the drag knob), it sits perfectly, no rattling, no issues, even when you give it a good shake.

i would use the carbontex drag washer

dont use tweezers on the washes, they are easier with even finger pressure and you wont damage them like this person did

I have a 24 lt 5000 D.

My 24 certate doesn’t make that noise when winding. Weird

Does your bail arm joint have a bit play or space in between ? Mines be driving me crazy i'm not sure if that's normal

shaft bushing doesnt need replacing, its more reliable then a bearing and you will soon change the bearing back to the bushing. adding a bearing below the spool bearing does nothing to increase performance, unless you enjoy wasting money then its fine for your ego.. 2020 certate lt 3000 over 1000 fish including a 15kg yellowtail king fish, never been serviced strill very smooth. shimano twinpower 6000, stella 5000, sustain 5000 and stella 14000 all needed new gears after spooling the reel (shimano warrenty is good, just weird they failed without fishing them)

Does the lt5000dxh share the same size ?

Will this void warranty?

Does the bearing size the same for 5000 cxh?

Can we use any brand of this bearing or do you suggest us the spesific brand?
