"Don't worry, child. I will make a snowglobe."

Previously on X-Men...

43:37 - It seems the decision to include Alpha Flight was... Vindicated.

The fun thing about saying "OMG that last fucking episode" is that it could describe the last 4 weeks

Cyclops fans unite, there are dozens of us.  Dozens!

Cyber had slightly enhanced speed, strength, reflexes, senses, and healing; mostly just above human tier, but not really high enough to call them truly superpowers. The adamantium skin of his fingertips ended in claws which secreted a wide variety of toxins; they were potent enough that a couple scratches could send Wolverine into hallucinations for a time, and multiple deep would could mess Wolverine up for over 24 hours. Most beings without some form or another of advanced healing factor would be rendered insensible or borderline comatose by the toxins in short order- or just killed outright by the simple physical damage caused by the claws.

Cyber was a highly trained soldier, spy, and assassin, as well, with hand-to-hand skills that let him face down Wolverine without being at a disadvantage.

I think Cyclops says "Behold!!! Optic Blast!" in the Children of the Atom and MVC games.

Always appreciate you giving some spotlight to modern fangames, Matt. ZVitor has been making incredibly sincere love letters to 90s IPs for a long time, and the enthusiasm in the games are really infectious.

9:11 those Robot sprites and the protocol droid looking sprites are from the Sentinel Factory level in the Genesis X-Men 2: Clone Wars game.  It’s cool to see those games cross over

BTW, Cyclops's new voice actor is Ray Chase. Better known as Alphen in Tales of Arise, Tengen Uzui in Demon Slayer, Ryomen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen and Noctis in FFXV.

That roll did came from Adamantium Rage. The guy who made this done a lot of his homework in using other game assests and putting them here.
Also yes, the brood were in the og Mutant Apocalypse game. Nimrod was from the arcade game.

28:14 Fun fact, the Brood were indeed created after Alien but before Aliens. So the Brood having a hive society with a queen, as well as absorbing characteristics and powers from the hosts they infect, came along before those were added to the Xenomorphs.

After rewatching the OG 90's series, most of Cyclops being an a-hole feeling is in our child heads. He's a jerk a couple times, but actually right most of the time. We all just thought Wolverine was cooler.

Sabretooth has always been my favorite X-Men character ever since I saw X-Men as a kid in the 90s. Cold Vengeance might just be the best stand alone episode of the original series in my opinion. Straight up Wolverine centric. I still have my purchased VHS of it with it's sleeve.

Love how Sabretooth's health regenerates a little over time.Neat little detail.

Cyke is actually pretty cool in this game. With hadoken motion you do an optic blast that sweep the ground and makes you slide away. That makes him great to hit and retreat. If you hit an ennemy with a rushing attack (elbow hit), you can link with a special to do a quick air optic blast, and when you touch the ground you do the sweep optic blast that moves you away from a possible ennemy hit or blast.

Plus if hold, the special attack let you aim in whichever direction. Great against small/big/aerial/jumping ennemies

The sound quality and delivery of the line "behold" reminds me of Captain America and The Avengers arcade stage start of "Let's Go!!!".

Magneto's "flunkies" were called the Acolytes

Last episode had “welcome to die” reference I think. One of the restaurants leftover letters of their sign just said “die” when the X-men arrived

please do the dark phoenix vid. i was shocked watching that in the theatre -- even with the conditioning to not have significant expectations from an x-men movie.
