The infectious disease season is already knocking on our doors. Clinics are starting to register more and more patients. Specialists are reminding people about vaccinations that are already available; all you have to do is reach out.
October is the perfect time for preventive vaccinations. This year, however, the Ministry of Health has discontinued population-wide e-referrals and has not launched e-registration through the IKP (Institute of Immunization) and mojeIKP (My Immunization Service). This lack of information may translate into low interest in vaccinations, even though vaccinations are already available at vaccination centers. There are nearly three thousand of them nationwide. However, you have to search and register yourself. Doctors encourage people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza simultaneously.
