Seagal: Trust me....I've been making bad movies for 37 years .

Little known fact: Steven Seagal actually continuously told the staff to "Bring me my cocaine!", but they actually brought him Michael Caine. Steven, being one to always make the best out of any situation, cast him as the main villain.

"Fuck these animals stink! Get me a washcloth."
That was hilarious.

2:12 easily the best part of this entire movie. Micheal caine is so good in this film, he legitimately steals the movie when he is on screen

Never realised that R. Lee Ermey AKA the drill sergeant from Full Metal Jacket was in this! Poor guy got shotgunned by Segal

You cut out the 10 min of R. Lee Ermy explaining to everyone what a black ops badass Seagal’s character is, in case they weren’t planning to take him seriously lol. Another great review 👍

On Deadly Ground is an underrated comedy.

If this was anyone other than Seagal I would say this is one of the best satires of Steven Seagal movies ever made. The fact he’s deadly serious is the icing on the cake!!!!

Personally I like the dubbed voice of the guy screaming “my nuts!!” after being kicked in the nuts and then later on when another guy yells “my balls!!!!!” after being kicked in said gonad.

Struggling to understand why these completely redundant lines were added but the fact they got added in post (not even sure their lips move) just adds to the reasons why I love this movie in the worst possible way!!

Let's go on a sacred journey always cracks me up when that local drunk Indian walk out of the bar with Seagal

I love the constant nods to Tom Segura's Seagal bit in his stand up. :D

1:48 "What does it take to change the essence of a man?"

Now I know what Planescape Torment writers' favorite movie is.

This is probably the funniest film of his career. The scene where he breaks the guys nose, puts it back into place, and then BREAKS IT AGAIN is pure sadism

Underrated action classic. Personally think Seagal did a bang up job filming in pretty horrendous terrain. Watch out for totally visible crew member during climax as Seagal and Chen run down a hallway. Uncredited Louise Fletcher plays a bartender.

The south park reference to the final speech of this film is awesome.

God review. The 10 minute lecture at the end.....

No one even landed a single blow on Seagal in the movie. I much prefer my action heroes to have to go throgh hell, makes their triumphs sweet.

To be honest, if I ever direct a movie, I too will hug a bear.

Whatever dignity Michael Caine had going into this movie went out with that dye job. I actually thought about going to see this movie partly because Jeb Stuart was one of the writers and I liked Die Hard that much.
