He deserved a quick guilty verdict. The evidence was overwhelming.

Such a needless death . All for an unhealthy obsession , a house , a well paying job, no alimony or child maintenance. Two young girls left without their parents . So very sad .

HEARING 2 shots is totally different from telling a 911 person that your wife was shot twice.
No one just assumes that every shot has gone into a person.
If anything, it's the contrary.  People say "I heard shots", they don't say, "someone was shot".
Those who watch police body camera channels, see that over and over.  And if they DO say "someone was shot", because they SAW it happen, or heard shots and then see someone on the ground, bleeding,  they do not say, "X was shot 5 times", at most they'll say, "I think I heard 5 shots".

Caleb's "she was shot twice in the head"  is so utterly wrong.  Like everything he did.

Thanks Tony! That was a great recap. The hypocrisy of these two while flying the flag of Christianity is just disgusting. She didn’t want to “ruin her reputation” - outwardly, but she knew internally what she was doing was very, very wrong. Her reputation was known by God who she proclaimed to love so much. I’m a believer that faith should be quiet and personal. Not that you should hide it, but you don’t need to be proclaiming it from the rooftop.

I remember one of the text messages to his mistress regarding his upcoming plans for his wife. He said if he had a 1% chance of being with her, it would all be worth it. It looks like the 99% chance of failure, has come to claim him.

I will never understand why these people think they can outsmart both Law Enforcement and modern data collection techniques.  He’s not a master criminal that’s for sure and now he will have forever to contemplate his cold hearted stupidity.

When I heard the 911 call and everything he said, I thought…
So who comes in to kill someone in the house without bringing their own gun?…
That side door pushes inward, not outward, and there was a refrigerator in it…
So the killer would already have to be inside the garage to move the refrigerator and then open the door towards oneself!
I thought if this is a random house to the burglar/killer than he wouldn’t know where the owners of the buildings master bedroom is, he wouldn’t know the layout of the house-
Yet, according to Caleb, the person broke into the garage without a gun, decided to look in his truck console and find a gun, then immediately know where the master bedroom is and run in there and shoot his wife and that done he immediately runs out of the house and steals nothing!
I think if you told this story to a seventh grader, they would laugh their heads off because it’s virtually magical thinking that someone comes to a random house without his own gun to kill someone! And then on top of that, you can’t get in the side door because there’s a refrigerator in front of it!
Not to mention that he has two dogs that would be barking in the middle of the night and they never barked!
In the 911 call, he said she got two shots to the head… how does he know that? - Let’s say he heard two shots but why would he assume it was only to her head? - one shot could’ve hit her head there by its bloody, but the second shot could’ve landed not on her but somewhere else in the room or on her shoulder for instance, yet Caleb said it was two shots to the head. -
The math ain’t math’n everyone would have to set aside common sense, and logic in order to believe his story.!
I think it’s odd that his father who is a pastor and his mother believe that the defense attorney didn’t do their job!!!???
So they believe Caleb when he said he didn’t shoot his wife and believe that the intruder actually got lucky and took Caleb’s gun and then shot his wife and disappeared?
The idiocy of these two is absolutely ludicrous and shocking!!!

Very disappointing,  but not surprising,  is his parents' denial of his responsibility. Bet he's never suffered consequences for anything before.

Very quick trial. The prosecution. did a fantastic job of getting him convicted. He’s a greedy selfish lying monster. I feel so bad for the family and especially the little girls.  Rip Ashely
