Caleb Flynn is on trial in Miami County Common Pleas Court for the shooting death of his wife, Ashley Flynn. On Day 3 of the trial, the jury heard from Ashley's family as they described learning of her death -- and the shock of discovering the police suspected Caleb.

Prosecutors say Caleb killed Ashley and staged the scene to look like a home invasion. Caleb has pleaded not guilty. Now an Ohio jury must decide what really happened inside the Flynn home.

Thanks, Lawyer Lee. Talk about the betrayal of not just his wife and kids, but the entire extended family that loved and supported him, emotionally and even monetarily. What a monster.

Most of us can only dream about marrying into such a lovely family that takes care of their own and has made a sure financial plan for the future. Ashley's family embraced Caleb wholeheartedly, brought him into the family business as an "equal," and arranged for the future of the family business that would provide for all members of the family. If he wasn't happy, Caleb should have dissolved the marriage and moved on. Ashley's family would have regrouped, come alongside her to help her to raise her daughters, and they all would have lived happy lives without him.

Ashley’s father absolutely broke my heart. That’s a man who loves his family fiercely and built a life around them and their security and happiness. His eyes… so much pain. Caleb married into a such a beautiful family. So many lessons here.

Dad's dog testimony hit a nerve with me. That's the first thing I thought of when I learned they had two dogs. Why did the dogs not go crazy? And why did the defense not address that through cross? Seems an important part of this trial.

The fact that he is going to allow his girls to testify, tells you all you need to know about Caleb and his selfishness. If he is truly a man of God, he should just confess here on Earth.

I was so impressed by the family and how relatively calm and reasonable they were in the worst of circumstances. So many expressions of the facts "not making sense" from several of them. And being so straightforward with the little daughters.
The MISSING DEVICES seemed just too "convenient", like the missing pistol.🤔

Too think, he made over 200K a year, worked in a family business which his wife and her sister would inherit, received "inheritance gifts" early and then had a side piece. What a disappointed he is!!!! He's nothing special! And the hurt he caused his daughters.... well, there is a big "L" on his forehead!

The audacity of this man to end the life of their mama out of pure selfishness.
This whole family is just so lovely.
I hope they find peace and healing in their faith and in each other.

Ashley 's family is the "salt of the earth"! What a loving and beautiful family. I watched the mom and dad and sister on the stand. What an incredible family. Caleb obviously cared nothing for his daughters-- the man has no soul. I cannot find a photo of his mistress.
