Japan is very protective of their IP. Everything from cosplay, fan merch, and even doujinshi exist only because the IP holders allow it, to some extent. It's also why Nintendo is the butt of the joke when it comes to suing for piracy and modding. If you notice, Japanese reaction creators are very rare because it's not worth the hoops they have to go through to be able to sidestep copyright issues. I always find the contrast fascinating when comparing Japan to the rest of the world. Because in terms of their music, Japan is more lenient, allowing more leeway instead of what the west does, where even the smallest snippet of a song immediately gets DMCA'd. But for IP, in general, like video games and movies, the west enjoys more leeway due to Fair Use while Japan barely recognizes or allows for it.

Aqua is dating Akane and not Kana for two reasons. First, Kana is an idol, so if she gets caught dating, she's going to get hate for that, and we know from last episode how Aqua feels about that. Second reason, he wants to make up to Akane for manipulating and using her before. When he still had the star, he didn't care how he's gonna get big. So when he saw Akane, a very talented and smart girl, he knew dating her is good for finding his dad. When he lost the star, he felt guilty for using Akane, so he wanted to make up for it. That's why he said "this time, I will protect YOU". So, even though he likes Kana, he went for Akane to make up for what he did

39:49 The Dangers In My Heart flashbacks

Well don't forget Akane is the original Kana glazer

25:06 Well that's detective Akane for you .

Tbh Aqua doing the bare minimum as a bf and still having feelings for kana is not it, this is definitely not a healthy relationship. He is not using akane but hes not exactly in love too.
Akane just being satisfied even after knowing all this makes it even more sad, she deserves better.

Its Ruby season
Also Akane proves one more time she is a yandere

Yoshizumi...can you make your own anime? Because Yoshizumi-kun is a TV staff member, and his sister is a super cute cosplayer and a Vtuber with 300,000 subscribers, and his brother is her manager. It's like a whole anime setting.

Another reason Aqua went with Akane is because their fake relationship was public in the show, so their relationship would be more accepting to the viewers

14:08 Literally every chef I've worked under was a choleric

Seeing a lot of discourse about the genuineness of Aqua and Akane's relationship with Kana being in the mix, so I want to share my take on it:
I believe that Aqua genuinely is/was crushing on both Kana and Akane as Himekawa (Aqua's half brother) said he noticed him flirting with both in season 2.
The fact that Aqua chose to date Akane and distance himself from Kana has everything to do with Kana being an idol and Aqua of course still being traumatized by Ai's death. Now, if Kana hadn't been an idol, sure, he MIGHT have decided to date her instead of Akane, but he MIGHT still have chosen to go out with Akane regardless. I hope that these what-if scenarios don't affect people's interpretation of the anime too much, save that for the fanfics.

And on a sidenote 27:10 yeah, Akane can be MUCH more dangerous than the likes of Aqua and Ruby if she wants to be lol

I LOVE YOUR REACTIONS

35:12 thanks caw

Didn't think I woul hear Tokyo Ravens today

16:14 In my country, everyone under the boss is THE errand boy, and what's worse, the ones who do better work are given more errands than the ones who are lazy. Interestingly, though. Those who do good in their actual job and being errand boys for the boss usually get more respect, bonuses, and the social connections which are usually more important than money. See, the connections usually see the errand boy more than the actual boss.

24:30 thankfully I was able to get into a situation where I was the one not giving her attention. I was just waiting for a good message to ignore reasonably.
Actually more female classmates tried to contact me but I deleted their contact bcz I didn't want to mix in with the class bcz I didn't vibe with them 😂 9th grade me was edgy ash 😂😂

Meiya is not Yoshizomi's younger sister. She is a different character.

Peak gap moe 🗿

34:26 Technically the phrase "Metaverse" can also refer to the internet as a whole, not just the 3D Virtual World by Facebook (formerly Meta) so I think he meant that? Not sure...
