We’re starting to seriously upgrade our Necromunda table, so I picked up a terrain file from Print Minis on MyMiniFactory and decided to use it as a test piece before committing to a whole collection.

The plan was simple: print it, wire it with LEDs, build a custom battery housing, paint it, weather the hell out of it, and see whether the finished piece actually feels good enough to build an entire Underhive around.

Along the way I ended up messing with oil washes, graffiti, hazard stripes, pigment powders, random wiring, and a bunch of electronics I barely understood. Pretty standard terrain project, really.

I was genuinely impressed with the file itself. The instructions were clear, the parts were well organised, the design language is consistent, and the building integrated nicely with the tile system. This was very much a test piece, and it definitely made me want to dig deeper into the rest of the range.

Not sponsored. I just liked the file.
