its so hard for me to forgive mina for what she did. she lit ruined jimin's life and later pretended like nothing was wrong on her side. this case should be a lesson for kpop stans to not judge right away when a rumor or an allegation comes out. wait till both sides of story has been told, then judge.
as someone who's been around when aoa was active, i do believe they were close (not extremely close but they definitely were). i think everything went downhill when choa left, then the mina-jimin issue just put more salt on the wound. i do think the heated discussions started during choa's departure and just got worse from there and no i'm not blaming choa at all, the girl did what she felt was better for her, she was going through tough times herself. even now, i feel like they cherish each other but there's stuff left unsolved and the tensions are definitely still present.
Thanks for AOA update. Iconic gg with a gut punch ending. There should be a documentary on the events and moving forward that the girls participate in. Follow that up with a final 3-song set for closure. They should do this for each other.
As an Elvis, I literally can't forgive Mina. She's a total liar. If Jimin actually did bullied her, she would've sued Jimin. She wouldn't need to fake those dramas on Instagram. If she was really harmed, she would've reported it to the police. I see her as a hypocrite and a bully.
I believe they really did have a genuine relationship together (esp during their active era), it's just that after all the drama/messy things happened to them some chose to not break contact with other members, some chose to bond once in a while, some didn't end the relationship by still following them on social media and have some interactions here and there, and some maybe had private gatherings together. We can't really tell, it's them that knows behind the curtain.
Although Hyejeong said she didn't continue contacting the members, doesn't mean she totally cutting their friendship. maybe it's her way of trying to forget all the damage that the issue have caused her, considering that people not only bullied Jimin that time, but also all the members for "being a bystander"
She was the closest to Mina during their promotion and she was her roommate prolly that's why she can't resist meeting her once in a while. She maybe also considering her mental health, knowing that she was always the one to calm Mina when she's breaking down.
I don't want to blame anyone, it's just so harsh being an idol, celebrity, especially a Woman in Korea.
One thing for sure, we may know some story about the girls but we will never have the detail or accuracy of it.
I totally missed them, I really wish they can comeback. But, if that would cause them stress it's better not to. I will just support them individually.
i remember the time when i was tweeting people to calm down and wait for the opposition to state their side of the story and got straight up mass-reported, i wonder how those people feel now that the story is against their previous view of the situation.
people never really go in-depth with severe situations like this and immediately choose sides.
I don't really buy Mina's "apology" but another part of me is hoping that ex-APRIL member Hyunjoo will do the same and at least address the fans, if she isn't going to apologise to Naeun.
I can’t forgive Mina even though she was my bias in AOA. Jimin was gaining a ton of popularity and would’ve been really successful after AOA if none of this happened
