“Is it OEM?” taught me nothing. Who made it, part number, where from, what warranty, why this part. Module four, with the worksheet. PDF. https://everythingcars.shop/mercedes/playbook

My 28 year old Mercedes will probably last another 28 year’s maintenance can be expensive but it’s cheaper than car payments

The sunroof clogs way to easily for such an expensive vehicle.

30 year Mercedes driver here, latest is a 2025 C300 amg option.  These cars have gotten so damn complicated to drive that I think this is my last.  I mean, every function is computerized, no dials, nothing seamless, everything a hassle and sometimes requiring multiple attempts before it actually responds.  I may sound like an old person but this old person just wants a simplified driving experience while maintaining a luxury interior - is that too much to ask?

I take my Mercedes to the dealer for EVERYTHING.  I’ve paid too much money for some else to screw it up.  At least taking it to the dealer I can go back on them.

I just bought my first Mercedes Benz. This is extremely helpful!

My W204 2013 with 7 speed G/Box has automatic transmission oil change in service book at every 60K miles, I do at 45K miles, as that’s about 4 years driving for me.

Thank you👍🏽👍🏽

I got an oil change 2 years ago at MB dealer and some one told me my car need new battery . I said no , and my car battery  is still very good until now .

Thank you, you have a new subscriber  🔧 😊 I knew some things, this is very helpful.

I agree 100% with you it's not too much to ask

2006 ML 350, love it runs great.Keeper, less than100k

I just got done doing a $7800 tuneup to my 07 SLK 55 AMG transmission mounts engine mounts transmission flush power steering flush brake flush toilet flush you name it it got done to this thing and oh my God does it run sweet now give it give a fucking nod to Lynnwood Mercedes

Thank you God for being second generation Bavarian -American ! I have always had an intuitive working knowledge with all Mercs. I have a 2023 S580 mild hybrid and a C63 convertible; I didn't need the salesman to tutor me on anything, I quite simply dance around with the automobile like a beautiful woman and let the waltz begin. ///AMG

So, change fluids sooner than later and use MB branded parts, or take it to a trusted dealer and specify what you want done.  I do maintenance myself and certain repairs are done by the dealer. Typical repair is $1,000.  Last repair was almost $3,000 for an AC compressor shipped from Germany.  So far, the difference in running cost Honda Pilot vs. E350 is only a bit more for the Mercedes.  However the windshield replacement for the Pilot, for example, was over $1.200 through insurance.  The drive train fluids for the Pilot every 30k miles runs about $500 for the parts alone.  I have scan tools for these vehicles, also.

I have a CLA 45 AMG  and a E350 e .
I am delighted with both of them.
Yes not cheap to look after  but great cars.

Just got a 2014 E350 with 88,000 miles. It's in pristine shape. I aim to take very good care of it and hope it will last me a decade plus. Then I will probably go electric. I don't like what I'm hearing about new Benzes. Way too computerized and costly to repair.

Very helpful, thanks for sharing👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿!

Great video ❤
