I play a Magic the Gathering Online Pauper league with Golgari Dredge, a deck from Patreon subscriber Brad. Ever since Dread Return was downshifted to the budget-friendly Pauper format, brewers have been trying to use it. Dread Return is one of the most broken graveyard cards ever printed and it makes sense to make a deck entirely around utilizing it. Stinkweed Imp paired with self mill and looting effects gets your graveyard stacked in a hurry. Lotleth Giant is the big banger to reanimate in the deck once you've dredged a deadly amount of creatures. The deck also uses Troll of Khazad Dum with Exhume for fast reanimator strats instead. It might happen fast, might happen slow, but the graveyard monsters are coming for you! Despite only playing commons, this deck is un-commonly busted! MTG

I may be way off base but it feels like pauper is a format where you can really flex a lot of MTG concepts. In that same vein the large amount of decisions creates so many teaching points, perhaps a joy of teaching is what I was picking up on.
Looking forward to more pauper in the future.
