Who's here after the news of Rooster Teeth's shut down?

If I had to guess, the in-universe justification as to why Ursa are attracted to the smell of honey and sap is probably because they've learned that humans like the stuff and that if they hang around it they're more likely to find humans. By that token, Ursa are also probably attracted to the smell of food and garbage, not because they actually want to eat it, but because of the aforementioned human association.

So Ursa are basically the raccoons of the Grimm world.

I find it a bit weird that the animals in the initiation forest would attack students if this isnt the first initiation in the forest, considering that they'd probably learn to equate humans with danger, so I'd personally replace them with maskless young grimm. Otherwise a very solid rewrite though!

The one thing that makes me like Fixing RWBY?
I really like how you expanded on Yang's insecurities relating to leaving Ruby Rose alone.

I love how red trailer is literally unchanged, because it perfectly describes ruby.

1:24:22 That has to be the funniest introduction to a character I have ever seen. Like imagine you met you best friend literally in pieces and they still bring in a cheery greeting as just a head and then puts themself back together

In anticipation of the Volume 7 redo, let’s start some rumors about the AceOps.
I say, Marrow has several unpaid parking tickets.
Harriet is super into Boy Bands.
Vine is a kleptomaniac, Elm worships John Cena religiously, and Clover switches peoples mail at the office as a goof.

i love how the tension between weiss and the team wasnt fixed fast like in the orig and how blake opens up to yang instead of sun

Weiss is showing her inner Bakugo in this remaster.

And Yang's a drunk...?

@skyslasher2297 2 years ago

I can't believe I hadn't mentioned this before but I do really like the contrast this Volume where Team JNPR started vibeing must faster than team RWBY did.

I think Blake's weapon is modeled after the kusurigama. It's a small scythe with a weighted chain at the end. So, I guess they took that base outline, swapped the chain out for an elastic ribbon, and made the scythe a short sword that is also a gun.

Neo could protect herself and Torchwick from the crash to further upkeep Neo's untouchable badass feel (huge part of her character that makes her so likeable) and also establish that she doesnt care if the people they hired get hurt, but does care about Torchwick

I know this was remastered, but some of the changes Ice Queendom did to episode I, where we see Tai and other adults earlier on, we real improvements.

40:39 Qrow doesn't drink because his team and family are broken. he drinks because Ruby hits like a truck.

My favorite part is that you didn't change THAT much. You corrected a few mistakes, you embellished some scenes that needed it, you trimmed the fat where it was unneeded, and brought it all together to run more smoothly. It still FEELS like the show did, but better. This is really excellent, thank you for your hard work.
