Bluewave everyday babyyy!!!!🇨🇼🇨🇼🇨🇼 My heart this year, has grown both stronger and weaker at the same time 🥴since last year actually, for the qualifiers, it's been constant anxiety and celebrations, and screaming, crying, then Worldcup omg, I think all 3 ABC islands were just nervous man, the noise down here was insane!!!🤣and now, still get anxious but we're enjoying the ride and what a ride it has been for our island.🇨🇼😎

We should've killed off that game in the FIRST half.

Costa Rica n’a pas battu haïti depuis 10 ans. c’est juste une occasion exceptionnelle suite à la fatigue des joueurs titulaires 🤷🏻‍♂️

Los Quisqueyanos of my Dominican Republic did very well for themselves. A for offense. Despite playing very poorly defensively all 4 games, they have made a name for themselves for creativity and chaos around the box leading to goal after goal. Long range, short range, aerial, set piece-- whatever the job requires, the team has proved they can accomplish these offensive feats in spirited bursts. They scored in every game and scored from behind in two of those games-- especially away in Managua.

Defensively it's a disaster. I give it C+, and only because the goalkeeper Xavier Valdez is 22, over 6', and is a machine in the box. Very few errors compared to his peers in this tournament. If we find some other CBs and Wingbacks to play in the backline I think you'll see different box scores going forward.

Ignoring the repeated treatment of Suriname national team by central american countries during Suriname away games is rewarding racism. Even the guatemala journalist interviewing the Suriname coach after the match offered her apologies for the racist chants.

Analysing the Suriname team, it should also be noted that the midfield solidity has grown immensely. As long this coach stays and the core of this team, they should grow. Certain games, even if lost, build character.
