The sense of entitlement of these people is incredible. Why do they think they have a right to park on a public footpath? If you choose live in a place with no parking that is down to you. Typical attitude that it is always someone else's fault and everyone else should accommodate them.

The guy with the Jag has a point but the solution is to not park there if there isn't space. Blocking the pavement for his convenience and forcing pedestrians to walk in the road isn't the solution.
If he lives on a narrow road and wants to park as close as possible to his house then he should buy a narrower car.

a solution would be to allow parking on one side of the road in marked bays.

The main problem is that modern cars are so big, even small cars are massive compared to years ago, our streets were built before cars and parking sizes have not changed since they were started and cars have ballooned in size. I have seen plenty of local streets that are so narrow if you parked on each side not on the pavement you could barely get a small car through the middle of the road never mind an emergency vehicle.

6:45 best way to make someone not calm is by telling them to calm down, when they're already perfectly calm XD

If there is two things I checked before purchasing a house is , 1 is not close to a river or stream, 2 there is ample parking on or off road, or I do not purchase. Also if I go into my city ,I always park, and ride, I find it cheaper than parking charges, or sometimes I use my blue badge, but unless it's a supermarket, I always park ,and ride.

These people are putting people in danger, why don't they put a hard standing in their gardens and put the cars on there. The person that called to fire brigade to prove a point should be prosecuted.

The quicker they bring in parking on the pavement all over the country the better, and for policing it easy, make an app so the public can take a photo of the car on the pavement, then when the photo as been sent the public get £5 out of the fine just imagine how easy that would be.

#18:23 if you can’t get that ford festa in them lines, you shouldn’t be on the road.

If they overlap the pavement they are not on the drive!

22:32 - parking and road infrastructure. I live in Eastbourne and every route in and out are single lane roads that are almost always fully backed up.

What about main problem is the council see the residents and visitors as cash cows, they want it to be super hard for us to buy tickets, this is discrimination towards people that doesn't own a smartphone or has mobile banking apps or don't wish to be trapped plus elderly people too.

We don’t all need massive cars, but it’s all they seem to make nowadays

I have offered to take local councillors or someone from the highways department to see the problems faced by wheelchair users, and it's not just parking; the footpaths are not fit for purpose. I often have go onto the road, and I put my hazard lights on and I don't care if drivers have to stop for me. It must be even worse for people with impaired vision; at least I can see and make eye contact with drivers, and I can easily ignore those that swear at me for getting in their way.

And that’s what these idiot councillors can’t get into there tiny little minds. Charge for parking, people go elsewhere, so then they lose the parking charge, and the business rates when all the businesses close down.
