Ali: Died in betrayal.

Ji-yeong: Died as a sacrifice.

Il-Nam: Bounced out the games.

I hate soooooo much when people call Ali dumb. He wasn't dumb. He trusted his friend. The man had been helping him all along. He let him call him "older brother". Ali himself would never betray a friend. Of course he trusted him. That's not dumb, that's decency.

When you realize we all cried for the mastermind of these horrific games.

This episode shows how the good people, the ones that put themselves out there helping others, are often used and sacrificed by assholes and corporations.

I've never seen a show put its audience through the emotional wringer as much as this episode. Great to have these reaction compilations available on YouTube.

Son, knowing how it ends anyway... I still cry at the end of this ep for oh il nam. What a way to have everyone think you went out, I'm actually crying and laughing at myself at work lol

Fun fact: Ali's death was Foreshadowed when he stole that money from his boss.

"I've been looking forward to this." - Count Dooku

Okay can I say at 7:19 the duo has great "No" harmony 🤣 Love it. Sang-Woo is butt a turd. ALI MAN! 😭

Yeah, we can say Ali was dumb for trusting Sang-Woo, but we have all the info. As far as Ali's concerned, this is just the guy that gave him the bus fare when he was going to walk across the city, and the guy who came up with the idea to throw the other team off-balance when they were losing tug-of-war. He's been nothing but 'good' to Ali, even if we know from other context he was probably just doing it to feel good about himself.

I never cried during watching the actual show, I'm tearing up watching this what the f-

This and the fans watching the season finale of Mandalorian S2 got me God damn it 😂😭

Hollywood puts out unrealistic fantasies; Korea puts out reality in their dramas.

I lost it...the whole entire episode. I haven't cried like that in a long long time.

I would've laughed so hard, if Jang Deok-su lost the marble games.

2:45 You can't shut off you camera shutter sound in Korea. According to the law passed in 2004, any phones with a camera feature must a shutter sound of at least 64 decibel or above. It was done to stop illicit pictures being taken without consent. Although with the mad Camera Quality on phones(especially in newer flagship Samsung Models) now a days, I don't see the law working very well

4. I've been waiting for this video.

5. In my honest opinion, this is easily one of the saddest episodes in television history.

Holy hell, this episode was f'in depressing.

After hearing the news of winning the Emmy Award, I watched the squid game reaction again. That's a great edit!  The scene where Ali calls Sang-woo"'Hyung" 형 (兄) as an older brother ,for a native Korean speaker, is even more heartbreaking. Even if you are not a family, when you call an older male senior as 형 "Hyung", it means that you two have a strong bond and friendliness as well as your family. When Ali and Sang-woo call each other brothers 형-동생 , deep trust is formed, and the belief that Sang-woo will take care of him is all melted into the title 형-동생. The depth of betrayal of Sang-woo, which Ali must have felt last, is so deep that he doesn't know the end of it, and native Korean speakers feel everything only about the word "형 !! the brother" Ali shouts last.

It took me going through sooo many reactions to this show to realize that Sangwoo really was the smartest player in this whole game. Gihun bumbled his way through the entire thing and the only reason he won eventually was because he had the heart not to be ruthless and that reached Sangwoo in the end.
