It's insane that your channel is this small yet your videos are this polished. Here's hoping you blow up soon- more people need to see what you're doing!

its so nice to find a Pokémon youtuber that does interesting things and isn't incredibly annoying

Bonus fun fact about Buneary: The only other pokemon to start at 0 friendship are the legendaries. Buneary hates your guts with the strenght of a GOD

Videos like this end up making me regret my decision to give up my entire collection of handhelds and Pokemon games to my nephews. I wanted them to experience all the fun and adventure I had at their age. Thinking I could just replay them on switch when they eventually get re-released. Almost 10 years later, there's still no original DS Pokémon games available on Switch. Absolute ridiculousness on Nintendo's part.

honestly you deserve more credit for doing this. I can't imagine the editing this took.

An easy method I used in HGSS for Lucky Eggs, I got three under 10 minutes for reference. Chansey can be encountered on Route 13 in a patch of grass behind a tree (needs cut HM). The Mary and Oak show on the Pokegear tells you about "breaking news" which is a swarm. It can be reset artificially by changing the time to 23:59 on the DS and let the turn into the next day, and wait for Mary to announce Chansey as the swam pokemon. It buffs Chansey's encounter rate to 40%.  :ead with Butterfree for compound eyes effect, switch midbattle to Sableye for thief TM use, make sure Sableye does not have a held item before the battle. When thief is successful or not successful, leave the battle after it makes contact. If it was successful, your thief pokemon should be holding the item it stole from Chansey; without Chansey needing to be caught or defeated. If thief wasn't successful, that means Chansey wasn't holding an item. I got 4 oval stones and 3 lucky eggs under 10 minutes with this method.

Such a relief to hear someone playing pokemon giving us some nostalgia and not screaming curse words every three seconds, I think it’s so annoying when they do that like their channel isn’t going to be equally watched by kiddos. Just good content and good vibes

I completed this pokedex in 2009 with my friends. One game, one console, and a lot of friends with their own games and consoles. Really good memories.

at 19:30 you BLEW MY MIND - I did not know there was a group move function in platinum!! There is nowhere in game that tells you about it i swear

This is lowkey one of my favourite pokémon videos of all time. I'm doing a living dex in gen 4 so this video is a huge inspiration!

between you and johnstone (and the fact that the DNS stuff exists) i am becoming inspired to do a living national dex of B2W2. i know that’s a HUGE goal but i feel like those games are like the culmination of all of the 2D era pokemon games. great video! subscription definitely earned

As someone who was the target audience when Pokemon Diamond/Pearl came out, this video is just good vibes. Keep up the great challenges.🎉

I thought I was watching a YouTuber with hundreds of thousands if not over a million subs. When I left full screen and went to subscribe I saw the amount you had… this production and dedication is insane. I wish you nothing but success brother

It is crazy how the safari skip guide helps you through this challenge, great video

13:33 a Snapcube reference in a Pokemon video. Absolute peak! you just got a sub for that. Elite ball knowledge! I am also working on a Gen 4 living dex, doing the excel right now while I watch your video. Amazing job thus far! You need more subs!

Platinum was my first and still favorite Pokemon game so it was amazing seeing you complete a 493-long living dex in less than a month! Unreal timing and efficiency, take a bow Nerdy.

Hmm, everyone says to try two or three times fishing on the same tile for Feebas, but theoretically, it is much faster to just try once and go to another tile.
I wrote a simple simulation in python, and these are the results:

Checking each tile once: on average you'll find Feebas after 218 tries or tiles
Checking each tile twice: 280 tries (140 tiles)
Three times: 357 (119 tiles)
Four times: 444 (111 tiles)

i was tempted to click off as soon as X/Y got dissed but i suppose i’ll stay cuz i love this series
