We just moved into a house with a nice sized, sunny back yard. Unfortunately it is also sloped, not as much as yours, but definitely sloped. We want to build the bases like your husband built for your greenstalks because that’s all I garden in. We’re not experienced at building anything so I was wondering if you would mind telling me what kind of wood to use, measurements etc so we can give it a try. Thanks. Love your videos too!!!

I’ve been gardening for years, but I’ve never grown garlic before due to space limitations. I do have lots of Greenstalks, so your video is just what I needed to see. I’m up north and have lots of hard neck garlic that I will be planting this upcoming week. Thank you for sharing this useful information with us!

I was inspired by one of your videos to buy a greenstalk earlier this year. Everything I planted in it is coming along so nicely! I have two more greenstalks on the way now, I used your code :). I plan to plant onions and garlic in the fall.

Excellent video! Good to know that you prefer to grow in the LEAF version vs the ORIGINAL, even though both would work. I planted in the LEAF but planted a lot deeper, before seeing your video, hopefully they will be ok.

I'm not planting garlic because of area issues, BUT there is a community garden in my area.With a small fee, I can grow my garlic, onions( the rest will be in my new greenstalk), Brussel sprouts and corn there.I ordered the onions for my area from HOSS and they will come in December. In north Florida, we usually don't get very cold until late December/ January .I love putting the fine straw on my beds and greenstalks ❤

I’m moving my strawberries out and my garlic into my GreenStalks this week. I’m grateful to you for the encouragement and initial planting info, and am using the GardenStraw for the 1st time, thanks to your recommendation. Do you give any additional feedings during the season? I’m in 7b, TN, and a mostly sunny locale in the garden. Thanks so much for sharing!

Great tutorial! I’ve already planted my garlic in a 22 inch container. I have some cloves left over and plan on putting them in one of my greenstalks. When do you start to water?
