Gosh your philosophy of being a good steward and taking loving care of the things in your care really speaks to my heart. I am so excited for the videos to come.
I am so enjoying watching you bring this yard back to life. My parents, both from farm families, always had a beautiful garden on the central California coast. They got free chicken manure and their gardens flourished using that so great idea for you doing some of the same. Since they were in a moderate climate they also grew a winter garden with lettuce, chard etc.❤
If you don't get to preserving grapes (and other fruit) right away, and you need to store them, try storing them in crates. They won't get as compacted as they do in buckets and will last longer. It's also easier to check for moldy fruit.
WOW, Very impressive work you all have done there! Can't imagine moving and being hit straight up with harvesting but you are working against cold weather coming. I'm enjoying following your journey. 🌿🍇🍎🌿Many Blessings!
Asparagus and garlic prep ... I moved my asparagus last year and have been prepping my garlic beds now => I made 2 new ones because I want to grow as much garlic as possible.
