It's crazy how both sides went from thousands of Sith and Jedi to basically a 2v2

Calling Rey a Skywalker is a crime.

Clone Wars era and Old Republic era are great

I’ll say this, if Disney and Lucasfilm were actually serious about getting Star Wars back to what it used to be they’d one, get good choreography for lightsabers back, two get good film directors and visuals back, and three put all that into making a Old republic trilogy starring some prominent Jedi figure protagonist (not sure who) and Darth Malgus being a Sith General as the antagonist.

The old republic  needs to be made into a trilogy of film

The Old Republic is my favorite  "cannon"/ legends era ever

Old Republic was the dripiest era in my opinion.

1:43 bless you.

25,000 years prior, the first Wizards, later renamed the Je'daii were the first warriors of light and study. When the Rakata attacked, the jed'daii defeated them only after they used the Dark Side. This led to the First scism and brought the Force Wars. The survivors renamed themselves the Jedi Order and later had another schism called the Hundred Years of Darkness. This led to Jedi Master Ajunta Pall being banished. The Jedi Order later moved to Tython. This was before Coruscant.

I think Star Wars should get the MCU treatment of the early MCU days. Plan out a storyline, then focus on writing excellent scripts. Don’t let directors decide to change the story completely on a whim.

Star Wars is one of my favorite franchises

Old Republic spawned the most powerfull Sith Lord and Jedi Masters in all SW universe.

12:16 chewy got forgotten again

Gotta love how the Palpatine family basically was put in a no lose situation at the end. Rule the galaxy as all the sith or become the new jedi founder and all the jedi.

How did they actually think making the evilist dude in the galaxy and his bloonline the ultimate victor was a good idea? Thats like making Hitlers granddaughter the new British queen and expecting no blowback....

Thank you for mentioning the corporate takeover of the Senate during the Fall of the Jedi era.

It's the most significant factor in the fall of the Republic and Democracy.

I love the gothic look of the old republic and I wished we can see a current day movie of that

The Fall of the Jedi, Rise of the Empire, Age of Rebellion, The New Republic, and Rise Of The First Order era’s because they were awesome and for Star Wars A New Jedi Order I hope there will be a better Jedi Order that can protect the galaxy and I hope there is a better Republic that is not corrupt, unlike the original Republic in the clone wars era that was corrupt.

Star wars fans dont hate star wars, they just hate how Disney has treated the franchise since getting it. and We'd rather they leave Old Republic alone

Honestly, the BioWare story of the Great Galactic War during the Old Republic Era is absolutely amazing. I see it as 100% canon, especially since its better than anything Disney makes
