CURTIS CONTRACT DRAMA EXPLODES AS LEWIS FERGUSON'S RETURN TO IBROX GETS A TWENTY MILLION POUND TWIST! rangers fc
Our brightest academy talent in years could walk away from Ibrox for nothing, while a Scotland international raised in a Rangers house says his dream of playing for us has never changed.
Two huge stories, one big question about how this club treats its own.
In this video we break down the latest on Findlay Curtis and his contract situation at Rangers. The twenty year old Scotland international, who earned a World Cup call up, has a deal that runs out in the summer of 2027, and talks are still dragging on.
We look at the real obstacle stopping him signing, the battle for minutes with Djeidi Gassama on the left wing, his impressive loan spell at Kilmarnock, and why Derek McInnes rates him so highly.
We also ask the uncomfortable question: can Rangers really afford to let another homegrown star leave for free?
Then we turn to Lewis Ferguson. The Bologna midfielder, son of Derek Ferguson and nephew of Rangers legend Barry Ferguson, has spoken openly about his dream of one day playing for Rangers.
Sunday Mail chief football writer Mark Guidi says the move is inevitable, and Barry Ferguson explains on the Go Radio Football Show exactly what would need to change for a deal to happen. We go through the transfer fee talk, which is reported at somewhere between fifteen and twenty million pounds, his contract running to June 2028, the reunion with his old Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes, and where he would fit in a midfield that already has Dan Neil, Cammy Devlin, Vanja Dragojevic and Nicolas Raskin.
This is Rangers news told the way the fans talk about it: honest, passionate and with no excuses.
If you care about the academy, transfers, contracts and the standards this club should always live by, you're in the right place.
Tell us in the comments: should we bring Ferguson home at any price, and what has to happen to keep Curtis at Ibrox?

He’s chosen Bologna - that’s where he wants to be - so leave him there - he won’t be good enough for Rangers !

This young man is going to be some player in a couple of years and I don’t want to be watching him play for another club and becoming a great player for them instead of us !
He’s still got a way to go - but no one can deny the very obvious potential in him !
