We headed to Minnesota and search of Lake superior agate… but this adventure turned into something we never expected !
Welcome to the first chapter of our RockHounds Unite World Tour 2026!
After more than a year of dreaming and planning, we finally hit the road for an unforgettable rock hounding adventure through Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan’s upper Peninsula.
Our first destination was Moose Lake, Minnesota, where we tried our luck hunting agates along the Soo Line Trail. The pickings were pretty slim, but a chance of encounter with a fellow rock hound reminded of a place that is something special…GET PICKIN’ ❤️
What happened next reminded us why we love this hobby so much. Beautiful rocks, new friendships, a wonderful conversation with Becky, and a whole lot of reasons to celebrate incredible rock counting community.
