Watch as the Four Nations collide in our Avatar: The Last Airbender Commander showdown. We’ve got every style of bending on show from scorching red-hot aggro, watery flowing control, and metal bending so busted that Toph would be proud.

Only the strongest bender will survive.

Thanks so much to Tom (XVERFIEND) for helping with the edit on this one! (https://www.xverfiend.com)

Fun fact, Aang loses the human subtype when he transforms, so you can't moon mist him back

"I have 15 avatar cards in there"

(a commander and 14 lands, lol)

Lore accurate ending is crazy. He changed form to to take life from Ozai (stealing his bending) while not killing him. Nice!

hacking aangs transformation goes crazyyyyyyyyyy, never thought to even look for a hack

Famous avatar cards Esper Sentinel and The One Ring.

such an amazing game - fun fact: you can earthbend earthbent lands, and just stack counters which is disgusting

Does casting Artifacts triggers Landfall because of Toph?

@jackandrew-q9e 10 months ago

20:30 as far as I understand, artifacts would trigger landfall with toph, they enter as lands, so amulet would trigger felidar retreat

As a note, you cannot technically respond to a player doing nothing. If it's not your turn, you have to wait for the player who's turn it is to add something to the stack before you get priority.

Small note. Haha. Solid game.

Loved the four nations tribune!

esper sentinal triggers only once each turn per opponent.

Concealing Curtains says activate only as a sorcery, so even if Aang had the ability, he could only do so as a sorcery.

@ethanmacleod1721 10 months ago (edited)

29:05 Jake said he wants to transform Aang every upkeep, which by my understand of what he means, goes against the “activate only as a sorcery” clause of the concealing curtains

35:30 Hardened Scales + Evolution Sage also gets you an extra counter.
Felidar Retreat gives you one counter on each creature + one counter from Hardened Scales. Then Evolution Sage's trigger also places a +1/+1 counter on your creatures, so Hardened Scales triggers again, resulting in +4 counters for each creature per land drop . Pretty nauseating.

I pulled 2 "Zuko, conflicted" during pre-release and every game I played him, he would die just before I passed him to an opponent, so he'd deal 6 damage to me then die. He is now called "Emo Zuko"

Great episode as usual.

24:20 Esper Sentinel should’ve returned tapped, as it was earthbent.

Give Katara flying and unlockable must be a mistake😂 give the chasm skulker flying en Katara the aura.

I just built a Toph deck that runs a recyclable Mindslaver, won by default because the last player couldn't do anything since I basically took all of his turns
