What happens when you take FOUR of the Secrets of Strixhaven precons... and dump $500 into upgrading each of them (Sorry Witherbloom). This is peak commander, with some wicked staples to super charge these decks. Who will rise to the top of the class… and who ends up in detention?

AND LOOK JACK SAUNDERS IS BACK!!! (swooonnnn).

Goaded creatures cannot attack planeswalkers. They are forced to attack players other than the player who goaded it.

30:57 When he discarded his hand with the "Will of the Jeskai", he could have trigger the "Containment Construct" eight times, making with Quintorius 8 tokens 3/2.

Quintorius is such a value monster! One note with the ability + Monument to Endurance: The monument will trigger after the full ability has resolved, so after the draw and mill. If Quintorius said "When you do" rather than "If you do", you could have the monument trigger first

Why is jake just not playing all his lands every turn from his graveyard. Just discard a land from the commander and easy 3/2 spirit every turn

@jfrizzell6645 5 months ago

Land tax - draw 3 EVERY time - discard those lands even if you don't have the Crucible for Worlds!

Cycling does not get you a land unless it's it land cycling

That lil' Quintorius jingle will never get old for me. XD It's up there with Sephiroth's theme, imo.

Tocasia’s welcome wouldn’t have triggered at 19:54, it leaving the graveyard triggers the commander, so the spirit trigger resolves before Tocasia’s welcome is in play so it wouldnt see the etc to draw? I think. That deck looks very fun though! Great build

the creature enters with 5 counters not 2 for the sake so should be an 18 18

Love this episode, but remember that goaded creatures can't attack planeswalkers!

Academy Rector only triggers if it dies, not when it's discarded. So you can't have gotten the Deification off of it.

Just wanted to let you know that I actually came back after almost a month just to hear the Quintorius jingle once again 😎

@garrettbentley5495 5 months ago

For what its worth discarding rector doesnt trigger the ability to exile it from the graveyard as it wasnt in play.

Does Yidaro get you a basic land when you cycle it? Wouldn't it specifically say basic landcycle? I think the effect of cycling Yidaro is genuinely just to have it go from your graveyard back to your library and then on the 4th time it goes onto the battlefield. I think it was a standard card and so with 4 of you got this big thing on the battlefield...
