"Did I just do it?" No.
"I'm gonna practice that" Yeah, don't.

Look up how to say that Welsh place on the web . it was mangled in the video

Please DON'T listen to his pronunciation of 'LLANFAIR' it's terrible... Go on line and listen to Welsh people saying it (lots to choose from). And by the way, you aren't pronouncing correctly either. I KNEW he didn't know how to pronounce British place names, when he said 'Morecambe'... LOL  🤣🤣🤣

I can't believe they didn't mention that we have actual rainforest as well. There's a few videos on this, and it's amazing!

The most northern part of UK is 400mls south of the arctic circle

I grew up in Morecambe and we was constantly warned about the tide, it's scary how fast it comes in and there have been many tragedies over the years.

Every British person was waiting for you to call that river formation an Ox Bow lake waiting to happen. There is a whole 10 minute section of QI on the British knowledge about ox bow lakes and lack of foreigners knowledge . 😀😀😀

There have been many tragedies in Morecambe Bay. Some horrific.

I have been to Dungeness several times, it is bleak but beautiful.  Artist and film maker Derek Jarman lived at Dungeness.

The guy kept talking about the Scottish Highlands, but kept showing the Isle of Skye!

JJLA we do have tornadoes in the UK around 30 tornadoes per year. England has one of the highest tornado densities in the world, averaging 2.2 tornadoes per 10,000 km² annually, compared to the US average of 1.3 per 10,000 km²

Interesting rather than shocking, all true.

At the most some could be called surprising, but if you were schooled in Britain and stayed awake in geography the surprise should have been over long ago.

I live in a small seaside town in north Wales. There is a beach, an amazing coastline, a huge mountain range, 2 waterfalls, an insane river right through the middle of the town, a Celtic rainforest,  huge valleys, a national park, an abandoned quarry and multiple nature reserves all within 2 to 3  miles of my house. You never get bored from going for a walk here. I keep finding new places to explore and I absolutely love it. Problem is that we get huge amounts of rain during the winter but the spring tides are an amazing spectacle.

21:15 "did I just do it?" no, no you did not. But to be fair, neither did he. That was painful to hear 😂😂

The train at Dungeness is actually a 1/3 scale model railway that runs 15 miles, and is nearly a century old. After the second world war, Laurel and Hardy did the reopening ceremony. It's called the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway that runs real steam.

4:15 about the dangerous wildlife, il never forget talking to a kid from Sweden years ago on PS3, he was telling me how he had to get offline to go hunting/scare off local bears and wolves so they dont go near his house/civilisation to keep them deep in the woods and he asked me if i ever go hunting, i said no it doesnt really happen here in the UK, he asks what sort of wild life does the UK have and i say and i quote "uhh.... we have... hedgehogs?.... they can be prickly..." l0l

The hovercrafts operate from Southsea which is on the south coast. They go back and forth to the Isle of Wight.

Grew up near Dungeness. It’s not a desert, despite being a shingle spit formed by longshore drift. Plenty of rain and lots more fog. Lots of interesting rusty machinery and abandoned fishing boats. Old and new lighthouses. The odd stray bullet casing pinged over from the nearby Army ranges. Strongly recommend the RH&DR train 🚂

Gulf stream becomes the North Atlantic Drift before reaching the UK, still warmish water though. After that it heads up the Norwegian coast into the Arctic. To return, the water sinks to the bottom as it's colder by then, is heavier, and heads back south-SW deep under the Ocean. The whole process is called the North Atlantic Overturning Current. Salinity plays a part too but that's getting a bit too deeply into it really.
