You know what? When I was younger I think I was better at creating bass lines. I was more free of mind and I only invented them by ear. I know there were a lot of technical and theory errors, maybe, but everytime I listen to the basslines of those days passed, I barely recognise myself. I think "damn, this was so good! “

Best bass teacher on this Planet. Period.

Scott, that bass is beautiful and it sounds GREAT! ❤

This channel never ceases to amaze me. Best place to learn bass, guaranteed. Thank you so much for all your work Scott.

Someday I’ll finish this video, but I got nearly 15 min into it and booked a gig! 😂

You’ve never sounded nastier than you do on this bass. 🔥

I think Billy Sheehan actually has ramp-shaped pickups from Dimarzio now that you can buy

Hey Scott. To help people understand how what you've taught is used, you could grab some other iconic bass lines and show how the notes fit in with the chords. And in different genres of music. Your playing always sounds jazzy. But to show how it works for rock, blues, funk etc might be helpful to some. Just an idea

Ok great! now I have to spend the next 2 weeks trying to figure out how to play all the licks from the first minute and a half!!!

Ok ... It's the raspberry bass now instead of the banana bass 😜😂

The 3rd and 5ths are used a lot in Salsa music

I'm watching from Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

That bass sounds incredible. Better than the banana bass. Do not give it away!!!

I recall when Scott 1st started thumping, his thump use to angle downward now the Guru that he is has perfected the technic

Hi Scott. This is Scott from Glasgow. I have watched you do many of these types of video over the years and I ALWAYS learn something new each time I watch. Keep up the great work my friend 😊

So nice! What gets me is that your time is regular as a clock throughout.
It's like I need to practice patterns over a metronome hitting on 2 and 4 for a while before adding thirds to my 1/5 bass thump.

Thank you for this video honestly the best video I’ve seen regarding bass lines

Thanks for doing these. Also, that new F-Bass looks outrageous.

Thanks Scott, always well explained !

Originally from the USA, I'm living in Kenya now, watching this from the middle of the African bush.
