To clarify the T-Series vs PewDiePie thing, it wasn't just about the sub number. It was specifically about how PewDiePie was a single content creator that was just doing his own thing and got where he got from his own hard work. Meanwhile, T-Series is a company with company resources and company dollars. Many people felt like the 100M subscriber threshold belonged to PewDiePie because he represented what YouTube was meant to be, a platform for content creators, and that T-Series as a corporate entity didn't belong there.

21:03 he's leaving out the most important detail: the reason why this was important. T-Series was a company and at the time many feared that this was open the gates to companies taking over youtube rather then independent youtubers. In a way, T-Series winning proved true and now companies basically rule youtube.

I remember when Justin Beiber's "Baby" was the most disliked video on YouTube for like a decade before YT rewind 2018 came out😂

Colleen’s video isn’t even an apology. She’s not apologizing at all, she’s only talking about how it’s “not true”. And it’s crazy how she still did it even after her team told her not to.

didnt even have to look at the thumbnail to know logan paul was gonna be here 😭

Damn ... 2018 was 7 fucking years ago. DAMN. Startin' to feel like an old head.

Funny how my choir teacher went to the same college as Colleen Ballonger and had the same choir class as her. He even Predicted that she would get into some type of trouble. He knew all about her scandals and drama

00:43 why is jojo siwa wearing a dazzled construction worker vest 💀

I remember kids in my class handing out pewdiepie stickers and told us to subsribe to him during this competition which is how i first found out about pewdiepie in 2018

Its rumored that T-Series was using bots and automatically was added to peoples subscription lists if they signed up for a YouTube account in India.

Not sure where I remembered this but I remember it being a thing.

Whenever my friend gets mad at me for messing something up in a game, I always quote Logan Paul. “I have made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement”

6:53 Kenji…who is your father!? 😭

I don’t forgive Logan Paul, I’ve saw that video before it got deleted. His behavior was childish and idiotic towards a topic that it very sensitive and hurtful to talk about, my friend earlier this year attempted so what Logan Paul did and said wasn’t okay at all because people lose others from attempts everyday so personally he did something was pretty heartless in my opinion

15:12 Kenji we don't hate the song it's because it's Jojo. In fact there's a better version of Karma's a B*tch by Brit Smith

jojo also defended colleen, is bffs with james charles and apparently had a search for the next stars and was a horrible person (more to the story just look it up)
so i hate her for that reason

Bro idk where this guy got his info on the t-series and pewdiepie beef but literally no one, not pewdiepie, not markiplier, not jacksepticeye, literally no one said anything about disliking t-series videos. I was an avid watcher of all three at the time and it was literally ONLY subscriber count. everyone i knew and saw was only talking subscriber. That was the work of the crazy obsessed fans with nothing to do. Seeing how he was so adamant, pushing the story that the youtubers were pushing their fans to specifically dislike t-series videos makes me question the other stories as well. Plus if there was anything serious about it, it would be the fact that an entire company was literally rallying all of india to go against an indie youtuber.

1:38 they tried to copyright the word react lol
21:55 man u had to be there to get it but looking back is so funny lmaoo

The immediate switch to 'Fuck T-Series' after learning it's a company is the energy~

21:49 it was so fun back then though..

5:08 don’t do sloths like that😭(let’s also mention that karma is stolen)
