i felt like i was in a meeting with my regional manager

“We investigated ourselves and found us to be doing a great job. Case closed.” - EA Sports

Hopefully they fix the attacking AI but knowing EA thats not happening

The biggest problem is the interceptions without any playstyles or size. Attckers and wingers are like 5 feet tall press you and intecept like prime maldini, its a complete joke imo

Investigating kickoffs that have been a trend for 9 years?

Yeah that fullback thing is no joke, they literally run back and put your opponent striker onside during a counter.

behind the back tackling is too op

These are all things they shouldve fixed BEFORE RELEASING THE GAME

its like cops investigating cops

Patch of death incoming just like fc 24, 25 and 26

The fullbacks are actually an issue because the Central defenders push up and the two fullbacks drop back, which leaves a gap between the two centre-backs and the the fullbacks, where either person has a striker in between the two CBs, they automatically are on side because this the fullbacks are dropped back too early

Wait hold on, what do you mean they're not achieving their goals with manual interceptions?? There's a MASSIVE difference in how much much you're rewarded for manually controlling a player into a passing lane and using ONE example where it goes through your leg is ridiculous. If they put out a patch to improve finishing but you missed a chance would that mean the patch didn't work? Insane logic

They do secret updates.

They have said they wouldn’t patch. However the people that are moaning about things within the game rightly or wrongly are who create the need for changes.

Right now the meta is through balls, 95 depth etc but it’s so new no one has tried everything there might be a way in the game to nullify that meta, we just don’t know it yet.

I think EA should ride it out for a while let people figure things out, I think if they patch it now they’ll just create something no one wants after we’ve spent 2 weeks learning something

I’ve taken 5 years out of FIFA and all the same problems are still there.

You tackle the ball and it goes straight back.

You pass and it goes to the wrong person.

You get free and someone auto lunges 10 yards in front of you or kicks you in the back of the legs.

Right stick switching still doesn’t work.

I’ll play for the content and packs but my god the game is the same as 10 years ago.

7:15 I’ve conceded goals to timmy’s spamming L1 runs for their strikers because my fullbacks suddenly drop back 10-20 feet full sprint when they do that and lift the offside

I really like how calm Nick was about the topic of the video. At one point crash outs just became hard to watch and enjoy. I know we became hopeless over the years with positive changes from this company, but I am one who would like to give them a chance to hear our voice and do what’s right. Much love to you nick 💚

I think the whole thing with interceptions is that its directly linked to the terrible attacking AI. Players make no effort to get in to space or into a passing lane that isn't being covered. You end up playing a pass out of frustrating or boredom and it gets intercepted. The fact that attacking AI isn't even mentioned is incredibly worrying because its breaking so many aspects of the game. Also outside of gameplay this is easily the most buggy and unstable iteration of the game we've ever had.

There’s no doubt that these issues need a patch. I think the reason they’re not releasing an early patch is because they want to make sure gamers have enough time to fully get used to the new defensive system and the new passing mechanics, and to make sure these two areas actually need a patch. Then, at the right time, they can fix these minor issues.

At least, I hope that’s the case.

No way they finally acknowledged it exists
