sniper took "my body is a machine that turns cold beers into piss" way too seriously

In case you don't know what every item does:
1:14 The Eyelander collects heads which provides increased speed and health that stacks up to 4.
3:40 The Soda Popper has a chargeable buff that allows Scout to jump up to 5 times mid air.
6:35 The Holiday Punch deals critical hits from behind and critical hits make enemies do the laugh taunt instead of dealing damage. Basically more of a fun troll weapon.
9:30 The Gunslinger increases the Engineers health and replaces his upgradable Sentry with a disposable Mini-Sentry. Some people considered it OP before it was slightly nerfed, because it can catch people off-guard, which is exaggeratedly depicted in the video.
11:42 The Dead Ringer fakes the Spy's death upon taking damage. Mostly the stats concerning the cloak-meter were nerfed, making it harder to use.
14:48 The Jarate is a thrown item that causes doused enemies to receive Mini-Crits (+ 35% damage) from damage sources.

The main Holiday Punch's feature is that critical hits instead of dealing damage make enemies laugh. That's the moment when you can easily kill them. And if you punch the enemy in the back it will also make them laugh. Medic in Meet the Holiday Punch gave crits to the Heavy with his special medigun called the Kritzkrieg. So if it was the ingame situation he would just make everyone laugh

14:30 it was op, and they nerfed the damage resistance so you cant tank like 1000 damage

Two LOTR references floated far above Ace's head.

The old Dead Ringer was quite annoying. Since spies were able to refill their cloak meters with ammo packs, a good player could had their ringer ready *all the time*, actually killing them was more difficult.

in the comics the eyelander is a cursed sword which fits into the gameplay of the item since it demands heads(kills) in exchange for giving you power( health increase and mobility increase), its also demomans room mate speaking of comics you should react to the entire tf2 comic series being dubbed by the beard

The main idea behind Gunslinger is mobility. With wrenches, Engie can put a sentry and upgrade it up to level 3, which means once it's destroyed you can only build and upgrade a new one, which is quite a big loss. With gunslinger, you build mini sentry which does not only cost less metal, but also can't be upgraded, therefore, instead of building sentry at certain spot and hanging out around it, you will be instead free to run around shoot others and put little mobile sentries for a bit more firepower.

Just so you know, meet the jarate is an official TF2 short

The gunslinger is my favorite 'wrench' for Engineer because it's basically just disposable sentries, so you can go running around taking on heavies in 2v1s if you put down a mini sentry. It costs 25 less metal than a level 1, is better and more disposable, and the engineer has 25 more health with it equipped. And if you land 3 hits in a row, the third is a guaranteed crit. The downside is that your sentry can't be upgraded, but paired with the frontier justice, which gets revenge crits for every kill, once the sentry is down, you get guaranteed crits for every kill you get. It's really fun

Bro goin from "Overwatch fan reacts to TF2" to "TF2 fan reacts". You seriously gotta love it. If there's any off chance you see this, I have 1.5k+ hours ingame (across 2 accounts) and would love to suggest some fun item combinations you could try out. Yes, a lot of people talk about "meta" combos, but they're not always the FUN combos.

Some lore about Jarate:

Jarate was added in the 2009 Sniper vs Spy update which also released with a short comi called “The Insult That Made a ‘Jarate Master’ Out of Sniper” in which Spy insults Sniper for what he does, so Sniper then decides to take some of Saxton Hale’s Jarate Pills, which would triple the size of his kidneys so that he could efficiently use Jarate, which Sniper also took Saxton Hale’s Pain Tonic so he wouldn’t feel the pain of his organs shutting down.

Which by the way, it’s called Jarate because it’s a contraction. Jarate means “Jar Based Karate” and what it does in game is make enemies coated in it take Mini-Crit damage for a short amount of time, Mini-Crits being a 35% damage multiplier and negating fall off on weapons

Lastly, while it’s pretty obvious what Jarate is supposed to be, Jarate is never directly referred to as piss and it’s also never directly shown how it’s made, though it is heavily implied.

old DR (Dead Ringer) was overpowered, it gave you :

- a speed boost (mobility is very important in TF2, even more so for Spy)
- ability to tank any source of damage at activation including at like 1 HP
- ability to replenish the DR charge with ammo (and guess what, ammo is found everywhere and is also dropped by the players you killed...)

new DR :

- speed boost
- tanking way less damage, you won't survive if you're low HP or if the damage is too great
- you can only replenish the charge using l'etranger, big earner or by waiting

So yeah, pretty huge nerf because of how op it was
it is still a very very good watch, especially in pubs

3:30 They are all mercenaries, they already ARE coldblooded psychopaths. If you asking about Eyelander speech, well, it speaks, because it`s a ghost in the sword.

Yeah, these shorts are pretty fun even if they don't really represent the real strengths and weaknesses of the weapons sometimes. Like, eyelander is great and all but charging at a revved up heavy with a pocket medic as a demoknight is basically a suicide.

The Eyelander is a signature Demoknight melee weapon, it has longer range than most melee weapons and deals no random crits. It collects head for every enemy you behead, for every head, you gain speed and +15 extra health. It stacks up to four heads, giving you health slightly higher than a Soldier's and speed that rivals the Scout.

The Soda Popper is a variant of the Force-A-Nature, it doesn't have as much knockback as the Force-A-Nature, but it comes with the ability to go Hype, allowing quintuple jumps.

The Holiday Punch is a signature Hoovy melee weapon, if you hit any enemy at their backs or deal a critical hit, it will not deal any damage but it will cause your enemies to laugh, leaving them vulnerable.

The Gunslinger is a signature Battle Engineer melee weapon. This melee weapon completely changes the way you play Engineer. Giving an extra +25 health and a new building called the Mini-Sentry. The Gunslinger allows for a more aggressive play style compared to the basic defensive Engineer play style. The Mini-Sentry is weaker variant of the Level 1 Sentry, weaker but cheaper. Only costing 100 Metal instead of 130 Metal. Dealing a third consecutive hit with the Gunslinger allows a guaranteed critical hit. It also comes with a unique taunt kill as shown when the Engineer kills the Demoman trying to destroy his Mini-Sentry.

The Dead Ringer is a cloak watch for Spy. You cannot cloak at will when using it, however. If you have it deployed while taking damage, you will immediately go invisible and drop a fake corpse of yourself. Essentially, with the Dead Ringer, you can trick your enemies into thinking you are dead. The Dead Ringer is the key to feigning death.

The Jarate is a secondary weapon for the Sniper. The Jarate can douse the enemies in 'piss' and anyone who is doused with Jarate takes significantly more damage a.k.a Mini-Crits. The Jarate is also useful in revealing invisible Spies.

His dad: i guess you Wonder where i've been?

Gabe: "My favorite class is the spy"

Also Gabe: Proceeds to brutally nerf the dead ringer

context for the dead ringer pre nerf: back in the day, the dead ringer would allow spies to tank 90% of damage taken while the deadringer was active, which meant they could survive even backstabs, plus it could recharge with ammo packs and had added resistance while cloaked

needless to say, i think everybody was happy about the nerfs it got
