"He heard what sounded like gibberish"
"The translation has shown what he heard to be a phrase in Welsh"
Ah, that checks out.

The paperclips maximizer being a Broken God SCP is genius, actually.

The Sarkics would hava a Death metal Band called "Gore"

@justinsmith5870 3 months ago

Imagine listening to an obscure metal album and ending up in a mine trying to make paperclips.

Some say the pen is mightier than the sword, but I've never seen someone put a hilt on a sharpie.

Man, those AI can sure pump out high volumes of low quality content. But that's nothing compared to the strength and certainty of The Exploring Series!

The Shattered Deus is a sick name for a metal band though

Ah, ChatGPT. The GPT stands for ‘Garry’s Paperclip Trouble’

The foundation may be cruel, but not as cruel as Motown. Good to know

Years, literal years of consuming the SCP universe and only now as you said it aloud have I realised the god is Mekhan just so the religion would be Mehkanism... Gods I'm dumb.

Church of the broken god be like: our royal scientist fell into his own creation and was shattered around time and space

@jordanlaplante1131 3 months ago

I bet the French giant that eat the elf said "I've eaten tougher baguette"

The Church of the Broken God and Sarkism are my two favorite groups in SCP lore.

Iron within and iron without brothers.

I loved the concept of Mekane so much that I put them into my TTRPG setting. The fact that there is a group trying desperately to put their god back together is really interesting as a concept and it basically instantly generates interesting story hooks.
