One of the greatest live albums ever done.  You can't go wrong with the ABB. Peace

Allman Bros. in my top 5 of all time bands!

They actually have two drummers and they're great together

the whole Live at Fillmore East is one of the Top 10 live albums of the 70s .... an absolute must is In Memory of Elisabeth Reed ... you will love it and I love to see you dance in your chairs 🤘

Such a cute couple listening to the world's greatest music. Great job.

The Allman Brothers Band were the originators of the blend of Country, Blues, Gospel, and Jazz, that became known as Southern Rock.

My all time favorite band my entire life. Saw them live three times. Each time about 30 to 40 of us rode our Harleys to the jam. F'n great memories.

I saw them at the Fillmore East march of 1971

The Allman Brothers are called Southern Rock by many, and that just crushes me. They are so much more than that. They are a mix of blues, rock, jazz, and everything they do has a soulfulness that most other Southern Rock bands just don’t have. Duane Allman and Dickey Betts are my favorite dual guitar tandem ever. To me, the one thing they have in common with Led Zeppelin is that they are both once in a lifetime genius bands, that spawned a lot of good to mediocre bands trying to be them

Duane Allman great on slide guitar dickey Betts rhythm and lead excellent

The singer Gregg Allman was 22 years old here, and he sounds like a 50 years old blues singer.  Best band in America

Back in the 70s, these guys played the warehouse in New Orleans so many times, it seems like every other week, we were there experiencing this incredible group. As far southern rock, no one even comes close.

Allman Bros, Dreams, Jessica, Blue Sky, so many great songs

Southbound the album version with Chuck Leavell on the keys is one of the greatest driving songs of all time.

Two drummers played this show, Butch Trucks and Jai "Jaimoe" Johanny Johanson. The dual-drummer lineup was a signature element of their sound during this period. One Way Out was from their album Eat a Peach, which was inspired by a quote from Duane Allman: "Every time I'm in Georgia I eat a peach for peace". Really enjoy both of your reactions & how you groove to the music! Thanks guys!

Vocals and organ Gregg Allman. Lead Guitar Dickey Betts, Slide guitar Duane Allman, Berry Oakley bass guitar, Jaimoe Johansen and Butch Trucks on drums.

The music during the 70's was so good because there was no other distractions like phones, good tv or internet so people practiced instruments and music till they perfected their talents.

My favorite album hands down. You have to see them live to truly appreciate them. Live At Fillmore East is a masterpiece. Having seen them live was a come to Jesus moment. 🤟🏼

The first 3 songs on the Live at the Fillmore East album are some of the finest blues-rock tracks ever!  Definitely worth a reaction, separately or together.

Best live band ever! I saw them for the first time a few months after Duane died. It was April of '72. Hofstra Univ...Berry Oakley (Bassist) was still with them. They were
testing this album out by playing a couple of shows in NY, before going out on tour. there was talk they would break up, because of Duane's death. They said BS, with that!
They had something to prove, and did they ever! They played for over 3 hrs., well past midnight. It was my second concert, after Black Sabbath, a few months earlier..
It was an amazing night. I was 14, and when the clock struck 12, I turned 15, and they were still jamming! It was an unbelievable show!  People walked out of there dragging
their jaws! ..No joke! I've been to hundreds of shows since, and it is still my #1! ..That's how awesome it was!
