It's not southern rock, it's Texas Blues.

The Chicken Ranch, The Best Little Whore House in Texas!! Real life place back in the day. There's a movie. 😎😎😎😎

This was recorded in Memphis which really inspired the band but the producer did not want Billy Gibbons to sing in that old blues voice so they sent the producer to get everyone lunch.Billy went outside to get the cold air in his throat and he went in and quickly laid down the vocal, the song is an homage to John Lee Hooker - the vocal is an homage to 'Boom Boom' and the RIF is a shout out to 'Boogie Chillun' both by Mississippi blues man - John Lee Hooker!

I was in high school science class listening to my am radio when this song came out. I will always remember that day. Back then you had to wait one hour to hear it again.

Waitin for the bus plus Jesus just left Chicago are some of their best. Do them together.

These videos are hilarious, I saw ZZ Top in 1980, Loverboy warmed up for them. I can still hear that keyboard when Loverboy opened up with Turn Me Loose, HOLY SHIT. What a fucking show.

I saw ZZ Top back in the early 70s, they opened for Alice Cooper. I had never heard of them.
They opened with this song!! They killed it 🎶🎶🎶

Doesn't matter if you're 8 or 80, when ZZ Top starts playing feet start tapping, heads start bobbing and the air guitars come out.

The drummer was the only member without a beard. His name: Frank Beard.
